👋🤗💕 You are amazing. 🤩 These are so well done, fun, beautiful and whomever in the universe gets these, they will be wowed! I refer back to your journals for inspiration and write in them all the time. I’m thinking about a Mylar (from Ronnie’s office) print of journaling around the stencils and open spaces to place in one of those pages in mine to sell. I think that is so fun to see in a journal. Another idea from you.
Hard day yesterday. (53rd anniversary) so l kept busy. I’m taking in a huge craft room overhaul in his upstairs office. I can finally walk in there without going to pieces. A huge step and l feel comforted with the memories now. Plus it’s a huge area and all my crafts will fit.
I also appreciated all your videos you worked so hard on to keep us going while at your fun retreat. Thank you so very much! Big hug 🤗

WOWZERS Gayle! Totally awesome. All of it. I can't pick a favorite. Lots of cool stuff you got while there. I know you don't like it when the retreat ends but I certainly enjoy seeing everything you did and bought and I'm extremely excited you're home again. My morning has (and still is) exciting. We had our first pheasant born this morning and three more working on it 😁. So I'm now a grandma to a pheasant! He looks right at me when I walk over to check on him (or her). I named him Bucky. (Buckie if a girl) and he answers to it all ready. 😂. TFS Hope you have a great day. 🌞

Good morning Gayle and friends! I totally agree. Cathie and Lori both have awesome shops! And really take care of their customers. Beautiful products. It was so fun seeing all the goodies “we’ve” made used in your journals! Ha ha. OH and all the covers you finished. You really didn’t waste a moment at the retreat! That bunny cover stole my heart! So precious. Today I am grateful for this community of kind crafters and the friendships. Thank you for another awesome and fun video. blessings my friends! (And yes,, I love to travel and always nice to come home to your own bed!) P.S. I forgot to add my question. When do you know if you should stitch around tags/journal cards and when not to? Thanks!
Morning Twila Sue! If a tag or journal card is collaged, I will most often sew around it just to make sure the edges stay put. But there is no hard and fast rule. It’s really up to your creative choices. Sewing always adds a bit more texture, so that’s another reason I like to do it. The other thing it does is add more detail, time taken and love to your journals. Hope that helps, my friend! ❤
