I just installed these. When attaching the bottom bracket to the belly pan sheet metal, I first affixed some small nylon 'plates' with adhesive to the belly first; one for each location where the 3 screws are tightened up into the sheet metal itself. This was done to protect the paint and avoid enabling rust areas (this part of the bike gets very wet when riding in the rain).

The real question is... do they protect the body if you lay it down? From what I have seen you still damage the sides above the bars?

They do not; well behind/below them

I'm not trading out my 2020 300 GTS HPE for a 2023, so when are they making a Faco Front Crash Bars.
