Important note: For my gts supersport hpe 2022, we had to remove pieces (about 1 cm) in order for central rod/ crossbar to fit under the metal and also we had to disconnect the hose for gasoline vapors under the plastic cap of the fuselage…
It was such a pleasure watching an experienced pro walk us thru this.....wow. I don't even own a Vespa (but wish I did now, love that look)… I'm currently a Burgman 400 rider, but have ridden many other bikes.
Man I FOUGHT with the powder coated crash bar install - Vespa coated the inside so I ended up having to grind off the coating from the inside of the tubes before I could mount it to the underside bracket.
I'm a tool hound - wondering what brand of torx drivers you use. I'm looking for a new set and like the kind with the flat areas your can use pliers or a wrench in. What brand are those and what is your go-to, Robot?
Hi Robot, these crash bars look nice but do they actually protect the scooter that well. It kinda looks like it’s needs an additional mount underneath the rear light somewhere to give more strength to their structure
