Making me wish I went for a long wheelbase! I'd definitely be rethinking where to put the gas(ideally in an airtight container venting outside thro floor of van). As has been mentioned, away from battery!

Hi Dude I would have put the silver insulation in the ceiling followed by the normal insulation, makes a big difference on sound insulate and extra warmth. great video though.

Hi mate, cheers for the support, I decided against that as I’m on a strict budget, in an ideal world i absolutely would but I have to work with what I’ve got at this age. Glad you liked the vid 👊

How do it work out putting the gas above the battery ? Why didn’t you vent the gas and put the battery on top.

I wanted really easy quick access to the gas so that I can turn it off at the bottle when I’m not cooking, it’s worked really well, i would vent the gas if I had a bigger bottle or a more complicated set up but I don’t so I’m happy with how it works

sorry to say but putting the gas there is a very bad and unsafe thing to do. if you have a gas leak and being heavier than air, sinks into the electrics and there is a spark in there, you run the risk of blowing your van up. The decent place for the batteries and electrics would have been under your sliding bed and then have the gas bottle on the floor not on a shelf with a proper drop vent in the floor in case of leaks. the way you have the stuff laid out , if your insurance company sees this it could void any insurance in case of a fire or explosion. I cant see any reason the electrics couldnt have gone under your bed. sorry for bringing this up and at the end of the day, its your van and build but saftey should come first.
