The Forestry Work Road, Strengthening the road

　We manage 1,800 hectares of mountain forests mainly in the Yoshino area of Nara Prefecture, cut down trees, plant trees, take care of the mountains, and make forestry work roads that are SUSTAINABLE.
　
　The width of the forestry work road is 2.5 m in principle, and it aims to harmonize people and nature by allowing us to drive trucks while suppressing the collapse of the mountain.
　We have laid a precise forestry work roads in the forest, and carry out the Yoshino cedar and cypress planted by our predecessors. We aim for sustainable coexistence between people and forests.
　We also operate a wood products shop at a roadside station in Kurotaki Village, Nara Prefecture.

いつもほれぼれする道だと関心しています。
ここの区間は斜面が急で切り高が高くなっていると思うのですが、この道は切り盛りで作られているのでしょうか？それとも一部切土を別の場所に持っていかれているのでしょうか？

はい、道の路肩側は切り盛りで作っています。
切り取り土は他へは運んでおりません。
