      But they might not know it was for a BTC purchase.... better than a KYC dex I guess... I mean even if you meet someone face to face to transfer cash, you'll give away some personal info anyway (face)

    If your BTC goes into your trade wallet address, and you have no non-kyc to fund it. Using other BTC to fund the trade would turn your bought BTC into KYC. So how do you actually buy non-kyc BTC without linking your kyc wallet?

      Buy it from an ATM, if you're lucky enough to have them near you. And transfer to external wallet, then to Bisq.

    • @sharpmerciful787
      @sharpmerciful787 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Getting it from an ATM you'll have to pay the ATM fee, usually like 16%, but it's a small price to pay if you want it anonymously and non-KYC.

    What’s the advantage to doing this, versus using Strike to send BTC to Muun over lightning, then using Muun to withdraw the BTC on-chain to cold storage?
    Is the idea that sending to another Strike user is more demonstrable that it was dollars to dollars?
    It seems that even with the Muun method, it would be hard to prove that someone was “buying bitcoin” for themselves.

    So basically on the 1st screen, you gonna be buying the bitcoin that you want plus the markup amount for the bitcoin you wanna buy. The security deposit is a percentage based on the amount of bitcoin that you're buying, so in addition to the bitcoin that you're buying, you gotta pay a security deposit on top of that, plus the trader fees and the miner fees. And then on the next screen, you have to confirm to transfer funds from your Bisq wallet or an external wallet that'll go to the trade wallet to pay for the security deposit, the trader fees, and the mining fees. Then you confirm that. And then finally click on the button to review the trade and then click on the button to confirm the trade. And then you have to pay that amount I mentioned earlier using the payment method (i.e. Strike, Zelle, ect.).
