Thanks .. the younger generations in our family are now asking questions about Bitcoin .. you are one of the few early Bitcoiners i refer family and friends too . Top boy thanks. 👏🌻✌️😊
Great work as always. Would love to see a video on how you handle badbank change, how you choose to use 'efficiency' vs 'privacy' mode so as to save UTXOs (sometimes efficiency is best for privacy), how to pay with select UTXOs for privacy, and otherwise how you perform coin control for maximum privacy. That's my wish list. There's no privacy in BTC without (forward-moving) coin control, and it's a very tricky topic, indeed! Great work again Ben.
Hi, could you do a video doing the opposite? The safest way to transfer money from your hardware wallet to a DEX, like Bisq, for turning into cash while still keeping privacy? Would you, for example, go from your cold wallet back to Sparrow hot wallet to do a Stonewall to DEX for instance? I would be interested in your thoughts
two problems with this. 1st most people wanting to do this is they want to avoid paying taxes... So as mentioned, you are paying about 5% premium when purchasing non kyc bitcoin, then if you notice in the video when mixing in the worldpool process that was another 5% fee, then when you sell another 5%. so at 15% you might as well just pay the IRS your federal taxes and stay legal instead of breaking the law.... Also move the Fvkc out of states like California that want to add another 13% state tax to your federal taxes. there are plenty of states with no state tax.
@@CheapFlights-k4f That is incorrect. If you hold your crypto for over 12 months then your Federal Tax in the united states is 20%. if you hold it less then 12 months then its a little bit more... but not 40%. But we are talking Federal tax only. then if you live in a state like California the capital gains tax in Cali is an extra 13%.... A state like Nevada does not have Capital gains tax so you would only owe the 20% Federal Tax.... i agree with you that IRS wanting taxes from citizens that don't even live in the U.S. is ridiculous.
@@CSFoster The 20% tax is only if you make over $500K per year in income. If you make under around $90K then the federal long term capital gains tax is zero. California at that rate is around 6% and goes up from there.
So awesome. This is a lot. Thanks And keep them coming. I’m making headway even if this vid is beyond my present comfort level. I will check out the breakdown vids.
Great vid, thx! With the high fees, wouldn’t it be better to use higher mix tiers? And buying 500k sats eg instead of 200k? Unspendable UTXOs are just vexing.
Love your vids, but it would be great if you included information for first-time purchasers for things like locking up Satoshi for the transaction. If a user has never purchased any BTC, how do they get the BTC on Wallet of Satoshi?
Great content at always Bitrefill is epic, saved me recently by letting me purchase flights when my bank required SMS and I was out of cell range. Love seeing this kind of education being spread!
Hello guys, do you advise I should have a seperate hardware wallet, just for NON KYC purchases? Or is it ok to do all this stuff with an already setup one?
I would say it's best to keep everything separate to avoid mistakes. At the very least, learn about UTXO management. I've got a short explainer video on this if you're unfamiliar. Should pop up in youtube search.
How much was your balance in your MK4 after all the mixing fees and on-chain fees? Looks like before mixing your $200 was already down to $173. I'm trying to understand the full fee to go through the whole process you very beautifully showed.
It's always worth considering the Doxic change that goes into Badbank, this can be the reason why it might look like an expensive transaction, when really you have some of your money back
Mix Question. If you had 900,000 sats to mix (ignoring fees), would they mix faster, slower, or the same if you did 9 sets of 100,000, vs. say 3 sets of 100,000 in three different wallets? Assuming the same computer and Sparrow instance.
Sorry for being stupid, but if you choose most payment methods like "Wire" or "Strike" , "interac" aren't those KYC'd? How do you keep your bank from knowing?
Yes, for sure. Sparrow is just a little more user friendly. All wallets in one place is nice as well with the tabs. Try to get away from Ledger if you can, bit unsecure.
maybe this is a silly question, Do I need to have my PC on the whole time I'm mixing to my coldcard? multiple mixes will take hours if not days depending on the size of stack.
With the setup shown as-is, yes you'll need your computer on but your coldcard doesn't need to be. That said, you can go check out my video on Ronin Dojo, which is a dedicated always-on device. It will continuously mix for you, but won't automate the send to coldcard - you'll have to do that manually. Just make sure you send over each mixed utxo separately.
Explained: you can log onto amazon and choose a different country, then you are purchasing the GC in that currency. Didn't know this until a litlle more research.
Save the ads and and referrals til the end or throughout... my opinion.. i click off but decided to come back read comments and give a chance for information....
Ditch Coinbase, they are no friend to Bitcoiners. Wash how difficult it is to close your account, you will not be able to speak with a live person and you will have to jump through 10 or more hoops
Define “needed” you can easily buy btc in other places. This is the goldrush shovel scam all over again. And by scam I mean the intermediaries are again, making more than the actual asset holders
Does the sparrow have to be downloaded using the TOR browser. I already have sparrow on my laptop. Will I need to uninstall and reinstall using Tor? Along the same lines do all apps needed for this have to installed with TOR or VPN to remove IP ADDRESSES
The longer the fiat currency system remains active, the greater the risk of economic instability and potential consequences for global financial stability. Don’t overthink it.
Most informative video I’ve seen on crypto yet and gives me a bit more confidence to invest myself. Only thing i dont understand is the whole staking your crypto for a return? What does this mean and are you at risk of your coins being devalued by doing so?
Ben you are the most informative bitcoin TH-camr around. No pump and dump nonsense just all nuggets of GOLD!
Thanks man, very nice of you!

I think I might be missing something. What is the point of buying non-kyc through robosats vs just kyc if you are going to coinjoin anyways?
Non-KYC makes it so the government has no knowledge of you EVER purchasing bitcoin so you can say, “bitcoin? What’s that?” If they ever come knocking

Great topics to cover - I'll take a look at those in another video!
FYI badbank change I let build up until there's enough to enter into its own mix.
Happy to see 2 great minds here (Ben and you, naturally;))
💯 your the man Ben. Big respect for this tutorial.
How timely and just read my mind. Thanks Ben! Keep up the awesome work!

Great idea! BTC to cash or products/services with no KYC.
Did you ever create a video on this topic?
You are a blessing to this space!
So how does one gets sats if they don’t have any to put into the reserve/ escrow account? Is there another option?

Federal taxes are 40%. What did the irs do to deserve 40% especially if you’re not in the US?

Great tutorial. I see you have Sparrow connected through an Electrum server and via a TOR proxy. That is optimal privacy right there!
You have a fantastic channel Ben. Really impressed.

I was hoping to see the answer to that too in the end of the video, 30-40$ out of 200 is not negligible. Great tutorial otherwise!

your a human treasure to the BTC community....Thanks
Do you have a tutorial on how to send the bitcoin in to like binance?
What happens when the other person redeems the amazon gift card, lies it didnt work and never sends over the btc
Not sure, this is the number one obvious concern that no one addresses
Good stuff as always Benny!

Any sites you recommend like Bisq? I love love BISQ. But I haaaate how little the buying limit is. And that allows me to transfer BTC to my ledger.
So go gets the premium? Robosats or the person you got connected with? I want to sell some sats for premiums how can I?
Would it be more recomended to use both cold wallets on sparrow? Why you chosed one hot and one cold?
Thanks for this.
Just a headsup...your Ledn link in shownotes is broken. Maybe it's old?
Sorry for being stupid, but if you choose most payment methods like "Wire" or "Strike" , "interac" aren't those KYC'd? How do you keep your bank from knowing?
I’m thinking your bank would know you bought something… but they can’t actually track it like an exchange can… Can they?
@@metalgirl yes. Banks & credit cards are the original cbdc
Could you include selling as well?
Can a person do everything presented here with a mobile phone?
Why you need to mix in whirlpool if the coins were bought Non-KYC from Robosats?
Because you need to pay extra for clout
Awesome! Love these tutorial videos! 🔥
incredibly useful video. TY for this detailed tutorial.
So instead of using sparrow, couldn't we just use our ledger or other hardware wallet?
Yes, for sure. Sparrow is just a little more user friendly. All wallets in one place is nice as well with the tabs. Try to get away from Ledger if you can, bit unsecure.
Thanks for this video.
how do I transfer money to a company for transfer fees a international transfer of a document package?
No
It says something about the world when you learn that this procedure is needed for buying some BTC...
It’s not needed, but good

Try Muun Wallet for ease of use. You can send a regular BTC transaction to it and it will be available on lightning as soon as it confirms.

Does it make sense to do this process with KYC bitcoin too?

can't they see if they track that fiat has left us bank?
You buy Amazon cards in cash how has fiat left the bank?
Just found your channel. 🤩
Can you use a Chromebook.
Great question. Chromebook are secure but not private.
