Starting at the outside and working in was the only right thing I saw him do in this videa. Whole pieces at the edges, cropped pieces at the house is what you want. The opposite looks awful.
@@russellallen5482 what he meant is that you want full pieces on the outside and smaller pieces/ cut pieces next to the wall. Is a much better look than starting from the inside out and then having to cut pieces smaller on the edges
Please watch carefully 1:11+, his exit path is clearly laid out and is not stuck in a corner. Having said that, your advice should never be taken lightly😊
am I wrong or aren't you supposed to install stone veneer 6 to 8 inches above soil so when moisture penatrates in cold temperatures the stones does not pop out?
2” above concrete and 4” above soil I think these rules are dumb and I would never do that at my house , I am a mason of over 27 years and I have never ever done a repair that was at the bottom of a wall. Putting stone above grade defeats the purpose of the look, the stone is supposed to look like a foundation or like the house was built on a stone structure but this “new” stone ways is terrible looking and it looks like it is floating in air.
I'm 63 years old and have always wanted to do this kind of work.
I realize it's back breaking but the results are fantastic.
Damn, that's a hell of a transformation
Worked himself into a corner, normally you work out towards the edge but whatever works! Looks great

@@Wilburnator of course you put your cuts in towards the walls and leave the nice big pieces at the edges but you do not work yourself into a corner

@@gticarlos2003 yes I agree but you do not work yourself into a corner.

nice video style and good work!
what do you use to stick the blue stone on the concrete floor?
Thin set/ mortar mix
That end result is killer. Professionals here.
Nice work guys
Priming concrete? Or saturate with water?
How did you get it level wt driveway?? Please someone help me
An angle grinder? For bluestone?
The only thing that would cut the tight radius
Can you lay that over an existing somewhat uneven brick walkway rather than cement?
TOM R13 No, better off using cement.
How much did that job cost?
🤔🤗🇵🇰🌹🌹
Q Video más malo.
great masonry disco video but not very informative.
I was thinking the same thing. What is the purpose of having a fast speed video
The video is obviously over your head. It's very informative on many different levels
Bad work, so scare that people will copy the way they did it. Come on mediocre work like this? Don’t make me laugh 😂 🤣🤣😜
