  • John from www.discountjuicers.com/ unboxes and reviews the all-new and improved Tribest Dynapro Commercial NSF Vacuum Blender model DPS-2250A with One-Touch Automatic Vacuum Pump.
In this episode, John will unbox the all-new Dynapro Vacuum Blender model DPS-2250 for 2021.
First, John will unbox the new Dynapro Commercial Certified NSF Vacuum Blender and show you all the parts included. Next, You will learn how the all-new one-touch vacuum pump works to pull a strong vacuum on the blending carafe. You will learn how to operate the computer-controlled Dynapro vacuum blender that can be programmed to your exact specifications.
First, you will learn the benefits of vacuum blending when John sucks a vacuum on marshmallows so you can see how food inside the vacuum blender expands for the vacuum blending process.
Next, you will get a comparison of vacuum blending in the Dynapro commercial vacuum blender vs the Vitamix - a traditional blender that blends in an oxygen-rich environment. You will learn the difference between how water and tomatoes look when blended both ways.
You will discover the four main differences between the Dynapro Commercial Vacuum Blender DPS-1050A and the New for 2021 Dynapro Commercial Vacuum Blender DPS-2250-B. You will learn which of these blenders have a higher RPM that can increase performance.
Next, John will demonstrate dry blending in the dynapro so he can vacuum blend his flax seeds into flax powder to get the most benefits.
You will then discover how this blender blends up 1 quart of coconut water along with the meat out of 1.5 coconuts. You will learn how you can make the best-tasting coconut and nut milk by using a nut milk bag after vacuum blending your mixture.
Finally, John will make an antioxidant-rich super berry smoothie that includes wild blueberries, cherries, bananas, black raspberry powder, reuteri powder, and vanilla bean.
After watching this episode, you will learn more about some of the benefits of vacuum blending as well as the New Dynapro DPS-2250 with One-Touch Automatic Vacuum pump and Clear Blender Carafe with superior performance for 2021.

A tip on vanilla, vanillas from different regions differ in flavor quite a bit.

John, you've covered vegetable juicing, pulverizing flax seeds, and the vacuum blending capabilities of the Dynapro, any chance you can review how it does at making nut butters and smoothie bowls? Would be nice to see how it competes with the vitamix/blendtec/etc at those for examining its versatility in deciding which to get.

You can also use regular jars to vacuum and you can also do with Food Saver in one of their sealing containers, or for Mason Jars they have an adapter for them. I use this method by putting my small jars for daily portions of juice using jelly jars and the vacuum holds. I can also do two to three at a time in a larger container. Works well and keeps fresh for a long time. Good jars can be re-used this way. Good for things like nut butters. Also works for ground powders and expands sizes of containers you can use. As long as jar came pre vacuumed it will vacuum again. Just as with Mason jar don’t over tighten.

John, I was already to buy one of these, but sounds like there are issues. I see the problems, but I don't see where these concerns have been addressed. When I pay this for a piece of equipment I expect it to perform at least for a little while. Even with the Nama J2 Cold Press Slow Juicer the augur is sticking and hard for me to get out therefore I have to leave it dirty and come back to it when I can get it lose. They did send me another augur but it is disheartening. Thank you for all your demonstrations. It really helps, even these negative comments help because we know up front there are problems. My vitamix is the only piece I have ever bought that has not given me 1 minute of trouble.

Hey John I have a question for you.
I have had my Tribest Dynapro for about a year.
At first the distributor gave me the older version with the crappy motor and after six months it broke down. So they replaced with the Swedish one.
Now about two months ago there was a leak in the craft from the blade assembly.
I contacted them about it and they sent out a replacement.
In the meantime I was still using the one with a minor leak in the blade assembly.
Later I realized that there was grease leaking from the blade assembly and because of the vacuum, it was not dripping down as per usual on most older blenders, but the blade shaft grease was being sucked into the friggin smoothie and salsas.
John do you think this is a major flaw and overlooked issue of all vacuum blenders, because eventually most blade assemblies begin to leak, but with a vacuum blender it will get grease sucked into whatever your blending and because it’s slow and bubbles when vacuuming anyways, one would not notice it for a while and most likely ingest some toxic grease from the blade assembly.
What are your thoughts on this matter.
I only had the blender a year so far.

A few questions for you, as I’m very interested in purchasing this. How long does it take for the battery powered unit to evacuate all the air? How many INHG (inches of mercury - level of vacuum) is a cheap? I thought I heard you state that it was 19. Can you confirm that? How many vacuum cycles will the Dyna pro vacuum unit run on one set of batteries? You mentioned before that you’ve suggested to Dyna pro that they create a vacuum unit with a wall adapter plug, do you think that will come out in the next year? If so, would I be able to purchase just the vacuum portion at a later time? Is the container a Treyton container? How does the container itself and its blades compare to vitamix Blendtec? I am wondering which dynapro 1050A model you were comparing it against, because at one point they upgraded the engine to the new Swedish one that is in the 2250 but did not mention this to anyone. Is the 1050A that you were comparing the 2250 with the model with the upgraded Swedish motor or the older version. Basically there were two versions of the 1050A, one with the new Swedish motor and the previous one that is meant to be a bit slower and less reliable in the long term. The newer versions of the 1050A have the same motor as the 2250.
By the way your prices are higher than purchasing directly from Tribest, because the official price is the same as your price and they offer 10% discount on signing up for news letters and on holidays they have them at 20% off for the 2250.
All the best John and I appreciate your work. Wish you would deliver world wide.

Will it grind flour? Oat flour, blue corn meal from kernels, amaranth & quinoa flour etc. That is the one thing the Vitamix can do that this machine doesn’t specify it can do. The fact that you made flax seed meal gives me hope that it will be able to make flour.

      @discountjuicers  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

Depends. See th-cam.com/video/-Sdz_6ym2E4/w-d-xo.html where I discuss this topic. That being said, depends on the food you are processing, For a higher yield and more nutrition, I prefer to JUICE in a vaccum blender. (see the video I am uploading later today or tomorrow) to learn how I do it.

@Minifix he normally says everything about the blenders but in this video he didn’t mention the blue star on the carafe. If it is blue it is under 118 degrees. Once it hits 118 and higher it turns white and over the 118 degrees it is usually no longer considered raw. Hope that helps.

I have had incredible success at making small portions of smoothies for immediate drinking on low speeds . I prefer not storing my smoothies due to deterioration and don't need a vacume blender . Part two , is the best. I puree with my Omega or Solostar Juicer with the alternate plate and then pour the contents into a glass jar and hand mix slowly with glass bottled spring water and drink. There is a cold pressed smoothie and eliminates the quick speed of the vacuum blenders. That is the healthiest smoothie because of cold pressing. Much better than vacuum blending and my grey hair is turning dark and I reversed pre diabetes 🙃.

Thanks Hilton, will try that today , have an Omega slow juicer. I came here to see if I should use this kind of vacuum blender instead of my vitamix, has always felt blending on high speeds is very harsh to the vegetables and fruit fibers plus the oxidation, but I like to have both options.

  • @anonymouselbow

I've narrowed down my decision between this Dynapro 2250 and the Breville Super Q. but I'm wonder if you could review the Breville vacuum models in general (they have I believe 4 different models now with vacuum). The best review I found on the Super Q is th-cam.com/video/J9ZaJNJhQe0/w-d-xo.html but there is no mention of blade speed and confused why Breville wouldn't list that on their website. Also, curious and dismayed why these more expensive models don't include glass carafes.

    • @anonymouselbow
      @anonymouselbow ปีที่แล้ว +1

I got a response from Tribest that the reason they don't use glass carafes for the Dynapro is because the speed would shatter it, but they wouldn't share the speed they determined is safe for glass carafes.

Each vacuum blender has its own set of pros and cons.
First, the blendtec is not available for 90 days from what I am being told, but it may be delayed even longer. We will sell once it is available.
      If your priority is:
      1. sharpness of blade to get a finer blend texture - get the dynapro 2250
      2. longest warranty get the dynapro 2250 - blendtec vacuum kit only has 1 year
      3. better recipe book get the Dynapro 2250
      4. Need something NOW 5/14/21 get the dynapro - blendtec not available for 90 days but might be even longer.
      5. Suction power of vacuum - get the blendtec. I have not tested the dynapro pump yet, but feel its not as strong.
      6. Warranty Service/ Company Honesty- go with tribest - they have been on the level with me more than blendtec.
      7. Durability - I would choose the blendtec, the dynapro 2250 is a new product and it doesnt have a track record yet
8 - Noise - I have not done sound testing between the two, but the dynapro has a sound dampening pad that the blendtec does not
9 Sheer power of blender- I have not compared, but both seem comparable to me from my little use.
As you can see each blender has its own set of pros and cons, so it is difficult to say "buy this one".
I personally use the $2100 Commercial grade blendtec in my kitchen that IS better than the dynapro at $600, in my opinion, Otherwise wait for my detailed comparison video that will not come out until the blendtec vaccum blender is available, which I dont have a specific date.
