Freddy, Great videos and really appreciated....i think i am mastering the mechanical side and sort of get it but have managed to total a 250DFC for the 4th time... about to ditch the 3GX for and AR7200 but i know it should work...do you have any setup tips/videos for the setup and gain values for each side of the 3GX that would tame my beast of a heli....the collective is just unbelievably fast and uncontrollable even on +/- 11 so it slams into the deck and is just too sensitive....every time it hits it explodes....
the build manual shows you how to go through these endpoint settings, BUT the 3gx align defaults are already set for proper flight on their FBL and DFC head. This can be looked at better running the 3GX program/linked. You don't need to mess with it. After getting a feel of the new system/heli you can tweak the other settings, but endpoints are not needing messing with (could cause extra servo stress or binding if over set.
This is a GREAT video on how to set up the 3GX. I've watched quite a few and no one goes as detailed and straight forward as you do here. Thanks!! Is their any way to make a video on how each setting effects the heli. Basically for people like me that could use it spelled out for dummies. It's hard to know what you're looking for in flight caractoristics.

Every Change I do to the TX must I rebind to the RX? Does the Different types of RX need a different setup? (I've got Spektrum AR6100e I've seen a lot of setting with AR620 and the ones with satellites) The Software in the Dx6i is different in the the Dx8, could you help me out setting my Dx6i?

Down here in Australia I built a 450 with the 3GX gyro but when I move the aileron and elevator and then release the stick , the servo does not spring to neutral but just moves there slowly. The 3gx is controling this but I dont know how to fix it. If i go to DIR its fine but it comes back once out of programming menu. Any suggestions? Thanks again Nigel

hey buddy yes i use a gov when ever possible, haveing a nice set head speed makes any heli run that much better. The align gov is pretty good i use it 9 out of 10 times lol. i have the align gov setup vid if u wish to take a look
Freddy man, how are you? I have a question regarding the 3GX V4. I have a Trex 550E PRO DFC and using the 3GX V4 with AR8000 satellite receiver with my DX7s. When im setting the pitch in DIR mode on the 3GX, I have 0 at mid stick and +12 on full pitch and -12 on negative full pitch. when im doing my swashmix to get 8 degrees on the AIL and ELEV I adjust that in my swashmix, and when I finish all the steps everything is fine expect I don't have 8 degrees anymore on the ail and elev but almost 13 and a half... which causes the elev to bind when im at full pitch with my collective stick all the way up. What do I need to do to correct this?
no correctins needed. once out of dir your gyros are active so until the model is moving they will not counter the swash. thus the swash will move and bind out of the limits. If the model in not in flight and on the bench this is normal (as long as you did the dir as you specified in your message) you are ok its normal behavior

the calibration is for using the nitro gov, also the flight settings are user defined, those have to be adjust to your liking brotha

with the 3gx do i need to buy 2 of the extended antennas? and i dont use the ar8000

Hey Freddy, what happened to the next video?
The next video was the Align GP 780 gyro setup. Its just listed separate because its sold in the 3GX and also as a stand alone. Its on my channel :)
end points should all be +100 -100 for ail elev and pitch and rudder.
thats a decision for you to make. its all based on your flying style.
i use + and - 12 for collective
and + and - 10 for cyclic
