Kwame Nkrumah’s First Speech After 1966 Coup

Just 10 days after the 24th February 1966 coup, Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah made his first radio broadcast to the people of Ghana from Conakry, Guinea where he had set up base. In this speech, he exposed the true nature of the traitors who made the coup and also, sought to reassure Ghanaians that all was not lost.
