Kwame Nkrumah's ideas are being touted today in many countries. He was indeed a visionary.I've been talking about the Ghanaian mindset and attitude for some time. The mindset in Ghana is out of this world and it's very sad. From top to bottom of society, most people are corrupt. It's a shame that 67 years of independence and Ghana is not moving forward but backwards.

He was way ahead of his peers and time. The things he said 60 years earlier are so important today. Without the unity, Africans will always be subjected to disrespect and every form of oppression. Nkrumah never dies 🔥🇬🇭

This man ,Kwame Nkrumah was a visionary way ahead of his times!
All he said about what they imperialists west will do to Africa if we fail to unite, has come to pass as we speak!
Which begs the question; why have we fail to unite up to date?
The obvious answer lies in the fact that today, we have spineless leaders in Africa, saved Burkinafaso, Mali and Niger, who are afrid to die for their country!
All they care about is the lavish life of the office of the presidency. How sad.

Ibrahimjabati, imperialism is not only the west.I guess you weren't born to know about Eastern Europe with Russia as their leader.Or you haven't read or researched.Listern to the speech again.Dr Kwame Nkrumah was not talking about the west alone. The arm race and the imperialist culture was between the west and the east. They were all trying to get a piece of Africa. They all share the blame then. And what about some of the African countries at the time? Some, especially Tanzania Nyerere opposed most of Nkrumah's ideas and foresight.Research and find out the truth. Some of you Ghanaians comment without researching the truth.Ignorance is a disease.

We don't need to unite. E_U sampled it and have almost reverted to default setting by re-introducing border crossing restrictions. Nkrumah meant well, but African leaders that 'listened' to him were also toppled. The 'in-your-face' strategy didn't work and will not work. The end goal intention should not have been predictable/transparent. For now, we have to start with growing what we eat and eating what we grow. Once we have that under our belt, we can 'make things', s_ell to, and b_uy from each other.

@@victorbonssrah5440 Did Eastern Europe ever colonized Africa? Which European countries are still exploiting African?
By the way, which European country that came to the aid of Africa to fight imperialists to gain their independence?
For the other aspect you raised, I know them but that was quite beside the point.

@@ibrahimjabati6768 I didn't talk about colonialism.I said that the arm race was between the West and the East. There is no way arm race could be one nation. It's between two nations competing for Africa and that was and is still between the West and the East. Why is China and Russia are in Africa? Are they in Africa for free? No And I'm surprised that Ghanaians especially continues to talk about colonialism. It has been 67 years since Ghana's Independence and Ghanaians are still blaming colonialism. Why? Even if a person continues to blame others for their problems instead of crafting their way forward, you will never get ahead. And these are some of the reasons Ghanaians are suffering 'cause when they don't get ahead in life, it's a witchcraft, my grandmother or my mother.Always blaming someone. The mindset is what is killing Ghanaians.Ghana was giving loans to Malaysia many years ago.Malaysia have now developed more than Ghana. Why? Because they don't sit down blaming colonialism 'cause they did also.I know all these 'cause I'm learned and beside, I'm a traveler.I know what I'm talking about.I was in Ghana last year for almost six months and it's the same mindset that I knew before.Ghanaians should have the fear of God and start having a situation where they will seek God first in everything and stop blaming colonialism and witchcraft etc etc.

All What he said then has catch us hardly , because selfishness all what he said was thrown to dustbin now all Africa nations are swimming in debt , its people are not patriotic and they are chasing their slave master this time not by force but because of greener pasture.
