I'm not exactly sure which laws are being broken here, I'm no law expert. But I'm sure there are some being broken, why else would it be classed as an 'illegal' rave. So therefore surely police presence should be entirely expected. If a thousand people went to rob a bank, would they not expect police presence? So the problem here is a lack of humility (knowing that they're in the wrong but not accepting it), and then a general disrespect for the authority figure (the police). And no the police did not start any violence; someone somewhere amongst this sea of a thousand apes did not cooperate with the police and they will have dealt with him/her in a forceful yet civilised manor. This in turn will have got the backs up of the other revellers (further fuelled by various substances, disrespect, and a lack of humility) and caused a chain reaction of violence against the police and police property, which the police have a right and duty to react to. Why would anyone expect otherwise?
+Dr. Zhivago Raves are assosiated with drugs. So Raves similar music is being "controlled"/ harassed. It's like Islam is assosiated with terrosism in the US. And that's why large muslim gatherings are shut down for the public saftey.
at the end of the day police were supposed to protect people this party was another example of the old bill going in way to heavy for the situation, the sargent got a bolloking the year before by a masnonic pig farmer from nearby for doing nothing so they decided to be a bunch of dickheads and send in the shields! horrific things happend in the night at the megariot in 06 and again in yarmouth in 07, one day they might just learn to leve us alone we try to do it away from folk as best we can there is no excuse to turn up dressed for carnage like were a bunch of football hooligan! police break laws all the time ive seen police smash windows on cars to wake people up and drag them out of their cars to then beat the shit out of them as they wake up on the floor! u may be alright sitting up there i persume on an ivory tower looking down at us humble serfs thinking u shouldnt of broken the law then should u attitude but u have no idea what happens until ur there looking through those shields into the eyes of those cunts, there all charged up ready to go before theve even got there and assesed the situation a bit

Before this as a girl nights out involved booze, having your bum pinched, and maybe a stupid fight. I seriously don't like alcohol and what ot does to people, booze is also a drug, it can be dangerous and it makes people (especially British people) stupid. So when it comes to grown adults why police what we do for fun? The boundaries of the law don't make much sense to me, if you want to take a drug deemed illegal by the state and jump up and down in a field with lots of other people it should be down to you because legal fun isn't for everyone. Legalise drugs other than fags and booze. Let people dance in the countryside and have our police chase people who do real harm to others.
