I am watching you get ready to sew the zipper in the front but I noticed in the end of the 1st video you glued the zipper In upside down. The tall piece is at the bottom. I am patiently waiting for you to notice, but you are doing a fantastic job, I am learning a lot. TY

Hi Arthur, have you ever used the 1/4" leather tape in constructing your bags. Your ideas on this application would be very much appreciated. I'm really enjoying your videos. Thank you so much, I appreciate all the videos that you've had on TH-cam. Your ideas on using a dremel tool for skiving. I find that it is messy but it seems to do the job.

So I heard you say that the zipper was longer and then when you cone back the zipper was separated so what happen to the extra piece of zipper since it is from the other end and not where you started that part I was able to fill in the gaps.

At minute 25 on the video, it's hard to see what side of the zipper is getting clamped to which side of the bag. Are you clamping the right side of the zipper (pull side up) against the right side of the leather??

    Hi Mr. Porter.
Using the bond (glue) of the container? Or cans?
I do not know the exact name,
I want to buy an empty can with brushes type.
Retailers have known where I give?
    Thank you.

    • @ArthurPorter

Hello Leathercraft - MyLeather, Thank you for watching our videos, I am using DAP Contact Cement Glue, you can purchase it from Lowe's or Home Depot. you can get it by the Gal. for about $30.00 you can also purchase the container with the brush from Tandy Leather Factory, when you purchase the glue, let it stay open for about 2 days, that will allow it to age and stick better.

Mr. Porter, Why do you choose to use all those clips to install the top zipper? Why not use the double sided clear seam tape? The clips look to cumbersome to manipulate to me. Happy New Year my FRIEND, God Bless!
