Donna’s story is the saddest ever! She really didn’t think she was special but she was. If it wasn’t for her the tardis would have been destroyed, that definitely makes her special.
And what makes it even sadder is that she spent her life thinking she wasn't special, but the doctor finally showed her that she was. Since she can never remember him, she'll never remember how special she is
seeing that after so many years makes me realize how the first moment of the Meta-Crisis were just like any other post-regeneration moment of the Doctor

They're doing a wonderful job with him and his character development in just 2 half-hour stories as told by Jackie Tyler/Camile Coduri. Really super hoping that they'll get to do a full-cast box set some time in the future or at least do more short trips with other characters narrating! Though I will say that there is a part of me that's glad that David wasn't in "Flight into Hull" else I'd probably still be crying over That One Scene That Was Super Emotional.

I always had this theory that the meta crisis doctor would one day become the valeyard It all kinda lined up he has the anger and darkness of the doctor we get told that the valeyard is in between the 12th and 13th and from what we learned from the OF THE DOCTOR trilogy the war doctor is 9 then 9 is ten then Tennent is both 11 and 12 and smith is 13 technically Making meta crisis in between 12 and 13

I always thought it was kind of a shame they never mentioned the metacrisis Doctor again. I mean I get it he was basically a plot device so Rose Tyler could have her happily ever after moment but the implications are kind of insane imagine if the Master had done this think all the chaos and havoc two harold Saxons could've caused.
RTD and multiple other producers of the show have always maintained that they dislike the concept of cannonicity, which is partially why the show has so many contradictions in the near six decades of existence.
