As a wide footed player I am blown away by these. They are insane... my mind can't comprehend how comfortable they are. Straight out of the box to playing with zero issues. These are so good.

@@NoahCavanaugh Apparently they made some changes to the new colors and the fit isn't as good? Not sure but I have the all black (shadow pack) in AG and they are insane. I'm still in shock at how good they are.
I have really wide feet (3E left 2E right) and this is the first vapor I can comfortably wear true to size AFTER BREAK IN TIME. Love them.

Great content! Really enjoyed this video and was eager to hear you input since I have heard some people talking about the reduced responsiveness. But you really did an excellent job in portraying all the pros and cons. And loved the point about the heel moving sideways when planting since I do find that very annoying on several other boots as well. Can't wait for the upcoming playtests so that we can get an idea on how these new speedboots stack up against one another.

Found a pair of these w AG plates at the Nike Clearance store for $99 USD. I was nervous they’d be too narrow but I was able to wear them without problems out the box.

Got myself a pair of these, super nice, not sure if I prefer these or the FT Predators, think maybe these fit my feet better though. Maybe placebo but my dribbling feels clean in these.

I might get some just need 18$ more but I have the Nike Zoom Mercurial Superfly 9 Academy FG and I'm looking to get those cleats. Mine are a size 8 and they hurt a bit on my right foot near the pinky toe so what size you think I should get for those cleats and are the elites more comfortable so they doesn't hurt under my pinky toe thanks for you time. How do you find the water retention when playing on a wet pitch with the “new” GripKnit on these vs something like the vapor 15 upper or the new f50 upper?
Almost zero water retention on the Vapor. F50 is completely waterproof as it's a synthetic, as are Vapor 15
i really want the phantom gx 2 but im in between sizes 7.5 and 8 sometimes bc 7.5 is sometimes to tight but sometimes they fit good, idk either to go 7.5 or 8 i cant try them on bc none of my local stores have them.

iI have pretty much the same exact foot shape as you and whenever you say a boot has no space on the outer sides I get the same sensation the boots so whenever you recommend a pair I trust your choice. Since I was never ever able to fit the the mercs and you just reviewed the new ones would you recommend them or the phantom gx2 since I already know those fit my foot shape? How are they different?

Nah, grass gives a softness that an AG won't, the chevron studs are tried and tested on grass, just don't put yourself at risk at all using on the wrong surface
