what is the difference between business information systems and business information technology? And what is the difference between these two course with business analysis?
Hey brother, I wanted to know the difference between masters in business information systems and masters in information technology if there's any difference Please reply
Hey...l have a bachelors in computer science but later realized lm more into business. Which masters degree is best for me. I would want something that combines computer science and business. But with more business less computers
Well, Business Information Systems would the best fit for you. You will have a mix of Business Administration and informatics. With this degree you can open both doors of economics or informatics in your future career. I hope I could help.
Hi there I'm learning now Deutsch to continue my studies in Germany, I have obtained my baccalaureate in economics ; can u suggest me some schools or cities where I can find a school to study in ? I really appreciate your help.
Hello friendly people all over the world: Have you ever thought to study Business Information Systems? If yes, what was the reason to do so? Let me know😀
Hello, I consider to take a master Business Information System degree, could you give me a suggestion which universities are great for this in Germany or in another countries ?
Hey Joshua, I can definitely give you some good tips regarding German universities for a Master's program in Business Information Systems. I hope to create the video this week! When it's done, I'll post it here as a link✌️
From my personal experience: Yes. Business information systems is highly demanded and I had no problems to find working student jobs. From 10 applications I had 3 invitations. Currently I'm working for a governmental company with the responsibility for Agile organizational development. But the most important two things are: the current markt situation and how you position yourself. If you can't communicate your values to your future positions, it actually doesn't matter what you study. You are more important than your degree. Keep it in mind😊
Brother, I am thinking to take MIS or MIT as my Masters degree after my graduation so the thing I want to ask from you is which Computer courses or skills, esp. programing language such as Python you suggest I should learn before enrolling into my Master's degree program.
Different master programs have different requirements. What I always recommend is to have a look at the curriculum. From this you can determine which programming languages are important for your studies. The earlier you familiarize yourself with a language before you start studying, the more free time you will have during your studies. Otherwise, it depends very much on the courses you choose for your master's program. Which bachelor's degree did you complete before?
I'm currently studying MIS undergraduate in cyprus, can I apply for business informatics for Master? My bachelor is more in the business and management side rather then IT , but we have soms classes about programming and data management. Honestly I'm confused with my degree
Hey, I personally I think that the question should be if you can solve programming modules or not? The thing is, I can't tell you much about the education system in Cyprus. Since I study in Germany and I can't also tell you how heavy the informatics modules will be in you Master's Program. My advice would be: 1. Call the study office where you plan to start your master's program. Those people can deliver a better answer than I do 2. Take a look on your future curriculum and start to learn the basics related to the programming language which are requested I know my answer isn't what you were looking for but if I have more information, I think I could better help. So feel free to ask :)
Most of those who started with Business Information Systems would have no particular experience prior to the study. There were only a few people who already had "something" to do with IT. But they were few. The course you started with Google Analytics is a good start, but will hardly ever be covered in your upcoming modules. The best thing you can do is to take a look at which programming language is asked for first in your curriculum and learn the basics. This will save you a lot of time and stress in your later studies.
Hey So I did my bachelors in journalism and mass communication and now I am pursuing a masters in commerce with specialisation in business information system and strategy, innovation and management. I had a good career in marketing but work hours even sometimes on weekend were affecting my health a lot. thus, I decided to make a switch to technical career, since, I do enjoy technology, won't mind learning business models and doing analysis and communicating with the team which I truly adore. I have great time management skills and great communication skills too. I don't mind the hardwork, but is business information system as a specialisation worth it ? I am interested to pursue my career as a business consultant/managment consultant.
Hi, straight to your question: Yes, BIS is worth it. At least from my experience. The possible problem you could face from your story is that consulting & project management is not a working space where you can normally work from 9 - 5. Even as working student I had sometimes working hours of 12! Depending on the Status of the project. Later as a young professional those working hours can be even more common. If you have health issues and you try to reduce your working hours, than Consulting/project management is probably not the right choice. But! It all depends on the company and their working culture. Some consultancies say that 35 - 40 hours/week is the maximum. Others will hire you for 40 hours/week and expect from you to work up to 60 hours. The only way to find out which of the companies fit more of your expectations is by searching and asking people around.
I like to communicate with other people and have no problems with it.I first consider this business information technology/systems course because I think after the course my work scope is to reduce risk, improve profit, make decision for the company and also communicate with clients. So my question is Is it really like this? I can speak several languages such as English, Malay, Chinese and Cantonese. Now I'm planning to study business information technology/systems in Germany or Japan is it a good choice? Or u have any suggestions and advice for me? Hope u see this 🙏🏻
Hi Kris, I read every comment on my channel because it's always interesting to read what other people think about BIT👍. First of all, I want to say that you really understood what BIT is all about and you have a clear idea of your future responsibilities as a graduate, which is amazing. When I started my studies, I really thought that one of the only reasons why I should start it is so that I can become a future accountant or a future HR manager with programming skills or whatever field of work related to BIT. But that's not true! You are the link between a company's information systems, its processes, and its strategic business goals. This means that the company depends on your advice & your decisions. If you want to study BIT as a bachelor's program here in Germany, I unfortunately don't have good news. There are currently no English-language degree programs on public universities. That means you have to go to universities where the language is mixed, or you have to go to private universities where it can cost you around 40,000€ for a whole bachelor program, but the language of instruction is completely in English. I can't tell you what it's like in Japan because I've never been there. I hope I was able to help you. If you have any questions, just ask ✌️. Raslan
Is this degree worthy, i have just finishe my high school from management with computer as my major n i am about to start my bachelor level . My aim is to become cyber security analyst and i am planning to go for bsc(hons) businness information system, should i go for it or not . Plz suggest me which would be better
Thanks for your question! Since you already have the goal to work in the field of cyber security, you can definitely start your development with the study of Business Information Systems. The special thing about this study is that thanks to the Bachelor of BIS you can later take over management positions. Personally, I can tell you that a bachelor's degree is not enough to start your career 100% in cyber security. For that, you would have to do an additional master's degree in cyber security. That would definitely increase your chances! You can't do much wrong with cyber security career-wise. I know some people from this industry and they earn a super salary. But the working hours are asymmetric. A 9 to 5 job is possible, but you have to expect to work on weekends or even at night. That's not always the case, but at least it's a given. I hope my answer helped!
@@itbrezel Thankyou so much for ur suggestions. I really appreciate it ❤️✌️ Bro and by the way by studying BBIs we can also go to project management field right?
Of course, project management is an important part of your studies. Many modules are directly or indirectly related to project management. At my university, there is even a whole module on it. Then there is also a module on human resources management, internal and external accounting and, in your case, a module on cyber security. However, you would have to check your curriculum beforehand to see how your studies are structured. There are no 1:1 models as far as the study program is concerned. Many students I know want to work in project management after graduation. Mostly then in IT consulting.
@@itbrezel oh than i will probably keep project management as an option if cybersecurity doesn't work than . Once again Thankyou for ur time and hope u make more interesting vedio on upcoming days. Will always there to support u bro ❤️✌️
From my personal experience, I can say that studying is worthwhile. I have found the opportunity to get a good job with responsibility in the financial sector. I also heard in the interviews that companies would be interested in hiring someone with a mix of computer science and business. But you have to know that the course is very demanding and the failure rate is just as high. It will not be a relaxed course of study!
Thank you very much! I really appreciate your support! To your question: Yes, Busines Informatics & Information Systems are the same degree! The same as Business Information Technology. Sometimes Management Information Systems is also the same degree. I really dont understand why there have to be so many different types of names for one degree, but it is how it is ;)
Yes, I have two of them. Both are cockatiels 😁 The male and always loud one is Snoopy and his girlfriend is called Krümmel. She is more the shy but still the dominant one. The two are very active especially in the morning at summer time. I don't need an alarm clock and am always awake at 6 o'clock on the dot😂
