An awesome detail is that at 3:21 the Reaper identifies Valkyrie as a Northstar titan, with Viper as the pilot.

@@Vestigexx Valkyrie is the daughter of Viper, one of the original Apex Predators who worked with Blisk.
After Cooper (the main character of Titanfall 2) killed him, Valkyrie recovered his Pilot helmet and salvaged his Northstar titan, using parts from it to construct her jetpack and rocket pods.
As a result, her jetpack probably still has the original IFF built into it, leading the Reaper to incorrectly identify her as Viper's Northstar titan and by extension, Viper.

If you pause right at 3:21 , the reaper shows info on Valk and it says she's a Northstar class titan being piloted by Viper.
The fact that it took 6 legend’s to defeat a reaper really shows the skill gap between pilots and legends
With truly a lot of plotholes and awful lot of plot armor.
That Reaper would've smoked every single surface in front of him once charged up.
Instead it only fired several times and proceeded to turn on "Puppy-Loving Pacifist" mode

This story teaches us the importance of breaking Loba’s ult after rooting so that other squads won’t take advantage of it
I personally didn't realize it was a thing for people to leave the market behind. I always shut mine down after my team uses it
@@MarluxiaVI Sometimes it works (like rooting ammo again) and it’s also true that Loba herself would be the first to root and other members don’t come up with breaking the market. Ofc there’d be no room when they’re in fight and quickly rooting, so it depends imo

The Devs make the game, the animation studios make these cinematics, so it's the other way around: It's great that the animation studios include in these video sequences things that happen in the game.

I like the fact that when revenant had the head, he holds it up to every stalker with a shot on him which means either A) he understands they won’t shoot him if the head is in the way or B) he’s hoping that they’ll shoot the head instead of him

I love the fact that when Valk hit the big robot there, it actually mistook her for a mini Northstar and even had a thing saying the Pilot was Viper...wonderful connection of the Titanfall and Apex lore, well done to the devs here

I'm glad this animation shows the Legends with the collective intelligence of your average matchmaking team mate, barely any disguises, no plan, Loba actively working against them and nothing but a p20 and some drum sticks for weapons, truly an Apex moment.
A normal person would call this bad writing but us apex players knows this scenario was meticulously crafted to perfectly encapsulate the apex experience

I had to replay the part where he groans and says "truce?" to Loba. Made me see Rev as less of a villain, too.
Revenant and pathfinder is the best characters if we aren't talking about the gameplay. Both have charisma and interesting story. Idk why, but respawn is good in making robots characters. BT, Pathfinder, Revenant even the Ash. Wonder who's gonna be next....

Seeing Loba and Rev temporarily working together after Rev says 'Truce?' is so cool. Their dynamic is so, so interesting.
You know you guys would’ve made even more money if you just made this a series or movie..the story line you guys have is great and the characters are freakin awesome..I would love to see this as a show or movie..just not rushed..I know most directors don’t care about game movies or shows but you definitely don’t want this going down the drain

Which makes me wonder why us Loba so frustrated that they lost the head. The more it is in Duardo's possession the more Revenant suffers and the more hard it is for the others to destroy it. It actually benefits Loba.

I love how they acknowledged more things from Titanfall. The explosive ticks, the Reaper, and the Reaper identifying Valkyrie as a Northstar and it belonging to Viper. That was my favorite part. Honestly it would be awesome if these are also teasing Titanfall 3. And maybe the introduction of Cooper to the games. EDIT. Although the Reaper was butchered, it could also be teasing seeing them in Apex. Like it would be revenge from Hammond for the legends breaking in. But it seems they would be easy to fight. Kind of how they brought back Specters

I want a new character that automatically alerts you to anyone hacking with a cronus so you can run away.
The drone was following her aswell and she pulled out her heirloom. Looks like they are teasing the buff and a possible recolor for Lifelines heirloom.

Loba not ulting outside the building and valk not ulting when they needed her the most is truly the apex experience

It’s cool to see valk’s angle on going against loba. She was so hellbent on revenge for her father for so long that she had nothing but that. Then when finally confronting blisk she learns that it’s only holding her back and decides that it’s better to let go of the past. Valk and loba have very similar pasts if you think about it, the main difference is that valk moves on and honors her father while loba clings into hatred and focuses hurting rev rather than the actual loss of her parents. You see this in valk’s actions because they are fueled with very love for loba. But loba is too blinded that she sees this as a betrayal on valk’s behalf. She even did this with Bangalore during the season 9 comic when Bangalore rejects Loba’s feelings, she saw that as a betrayal as well and is now more cold towards her. Valk sees that pattern in loba because Valk also saw it within herself and is trying to break the cycle even if it means helping rev because she understands that it’s more important to heal and move on then obsess over hatred.
I get what you're saying, but Valkyrie didn't look good when dealing with Revenant behind her back. Her and Jaime had the head, so they could simply destroy it without telling either of them. 🤷♂

@@ConfettiBerg Octane's dad has been dead for years. If you read the Season 12 story, Octane finds a Duardo Silva death certificate. Duardo's dad (Octane's grandfather) stole his son's identity after the real Duardo died.

@@mikeadox I love Titanfall to death, but don’t act like this universe hasn’t always had a balance between levity and drama. It’s been pretty tonally consistent in all of its installments. The only difference I see is that Apex has the luxury of having more time to flesh-out its characters, but I’d hardly call that a bad thing. If being a soap-opera means treating your characters like rounded people, then I’ll take it!

The Hammond robot's interface getting confused and saying "Northstar?" while it was tracking Valk is unironically one of the funniest things I've ever seen in an Apex story video.

Even though the studio had to pivot to a Battle Royale game, you can see they still hold Titanfall close to their hearts.

Besides, they stopped making Titanfall 3 to make Apex because they were worried that making a 3rd Titanfall would just burn players out. I guarantee, without Apex and these shorts, we wouldn't be as impressed or as serious with waiting for another game in the Titanfall universe.
Though it makes sense for salty "serious" Titanfall 2 and Apex players to do nothing but complain about the state of the games and whine about a Titanfall 3... never satisfied.

This is why I always close my black market once I’m done using it. Also I find it AWESOME that other legends besides bloodhound and Wraith use their heirlooms in this video
I really wanna see some Mirage Lore and him Using his Heirloom (as seen in the Gaiden trailer) like His Heirloom can be a devastating weapon if you’ve seen Johnny Cage from Mortal Kombat use a Statue as a weapon.
I love that someone seeing someone playing Loba got me into the game and now I only play coz I love Revenant 😂❤ Absolutely love this story series. Can't wait for the next clip and more Revenant.
