this mission was by far my favorite, even though you didn't get to do a whole lot, just the cinematic element of it was fantastic. the radio chatter and sound effects really made this mission stand out, if you listen real closely at the A-10 gun run part you can hear that they get that sound down pretty dadgum close! and the fact they're from barksdale makes it better.

@AngryWhale you do realize missiles are pointed forward too, right? There is now way for a missile to do a 180 degree turn, the motor will lose a lot of speed causing the missile to stop.
Id say that maneuver is pretty irrelevant in modern times since most or all air to air engagements will be BVR and at that point it would be which ever side has the more advanced radar and the more reliable missiles.
The last bandit kill is worth playing the whole mission for. The thrill, the execution, and the music kicking into high gear, all of it makes this the best part of the game.
Well and with a not so much great pc. Bf 3 is very good optimized, and with the time nvidia makes more and more drivers and the game becomes even better optimized. I have played 64 players map with explossions, shots etc in ultra with a 2009 phenom x4 3,4 ghz and gtx 660 2gb vram.

If you want the real deal, DCS World and FSX w/ TACPACK are on the Simulation end of the spectrum.

They just identify the ground targets and make sure that target's have been destroyed/mission accomplished. • They're is only one CVN-77(USS Goerge H.W. Bush). Not 2 CVN-77's •F/A-18's would not have night positioning lights on during the day, especially in a combat senero. •No aircraft would be sitting on the catapult with no pilot like that...who parked it there? Otherwise, everything else is pretty accurate.

Flankers can do something like this in air shows, but it isn't useful in combat. Speed is life, and nearly stalling out your aircraft like that would get you killed. Just 1 of about 50 completely unrealistic parts ... this is a fun video, but there is nothing realistic about it.
Why do both of the CVs shown have the bow number 77? I don't mind if they copy the carriers themselves but at least make one of them have 76 or 78 or something.
2 seater jets have existed in a battlefield before, and if you wanted to use your M4 (Not A4, this isn't Counter Strike), it would almost impossible to do hit anything from a jet. You're better off shooting from a helicopter.

If this was a multiplayer match he would be dead within 5 seconds once the enemy jet got behind him, not to mention the enemy would instantly fire their 30mm instead of missiles.
BF3 had a serious (realistic) shadder to it. Made it hard to looks at on long term. Thats why I had 700 hours in bf3 and almost 2000 hours in BF4. BF1 on the other hand is plain garbage. Just as bad as Hardline.
