Love the build. Can't wait to see it in action. I agree a strait front axle would be better and would love to see that being done. I'm assuming the automatic transmission is better for wheeling? One less variable? Tubes in the tires, genius! Thanks for the video.
When I was in highschool shop my teacher had a 1998 one of these with a 5spd. It has a sticker that said "not designed for offroad use", lol. Why not Lincoln lock the front? Good Luck, looks fun anyways!
Front is too hard to get to. Looks like the cover is damn near impossible to get off without partially disassembling suspension, pulling cv shafts and dropping whole diff out
I owned two 90s explorers and one 2001 mountaineer. Those things were tanks. They rotted before they quit running. I actually want to get rid of my New ford for another one, as an adult now.
I love your shirtless videos 😍. Date code on that tire was 5th week of 2003, 20yrs old.
Never even thought to look at date code- didnt matter. Gonna run em' anyway!
Excellent video as always
Thanks,
I’ve got a 99 Cherokee I’ve been debating on doing that to. Can’t wait to see how it does in the next video!
Cherokee is king when it comes to bang for the buck wheelin rig
Awesome 👍
Thanks
Love your channel, Great content!
Thank you
I really need to build a beater and go wheeling
Everyone needs to. Beater wheeling is the BEST wheeling! You are in Iowa arent you?
Nice welding helmet.
Spider man,
Spider man,
Welds whatever a spider can!
Man this reminds me of the early years of the gambler 500. Before the economy went to shit and all the $500 dollar beaters are now 3 grand.
Are you talking about the gambler in citrus or richlome in fl?
from experience my front sway bar on my 98 sport was solid. i only know because i got bored a decided to use it for a lawnmower bumper

As much as I love a manual transmission, I gotta admit that an automatic really shines when wheelin'
SHIKAKA!
I'm 63, but if you can do that to a 72 Blazer, I'm Adoptable. Thanks... Dad. ✌️😘💨☕️
Hahahahaha!!!
I can definitely do that with a Blazer. No adoption neccesary

The welds don't have to be pretty. They just have to hold👌
I have seen a lot worse hold!
You do know those traction tires are backwards.
I certainly do.
It is NOT a mistake either

Explorers, Sport Tracs and Rangers have all served me well
It's a 2015 Ram dad😂 Geez get it right🙄😂
You know I am wrong about everything.
Just ask that mom of yours, she will vouch for that.
