I think an interesting dynamic would be goku having the blueish aura with UI and Vegeta gets a reddish aura with UI, having vegetas be more offensive based on his personality and gokus more defensive based on his personality. Having them as the ultimate duo.

Thus having a sleeker muscular taller form. Now that would be a far superior 3rd form. It also would help improve each mistake made in the past.
