- Before the Tournament of Power, Elder Kai offered to unlock Goku's potential, but they didn't have enough time. With some better planning, this is an easy fix. What would've happened if Ultimate Goku became a thing before the Tournament began? Could this power help defeat Jiren, or will they be utterly defeated?

Imagine having a spaceship capable of traveling throughout the galaxy and you choose to go back to Vampa.
I mean they have been there for more than 40 years, so they adapted to the harsh environment there and can keep Frieza's ship around if they decided to leave the planet for any reason
@@ahmedhesham6276 But they only stayed because they had no way off. Paragus hated Vampa and was ecstatic to leave. They could've chosen any hospitable planet now that Frieza was gone if they didn't want to be on Earth with Vegeta.
Broly only stayed in the movie because he was teleported there and he had a home and people to share it with.

Given the current antagonist wished/gained the current strongest in the Universe. Mind we don't know all the details still and it's assume that wish is only meant for the current it was granted. Still that probably make him still difficult even with way stronger cast given he would be boosted equally.
Mind I'm in part believe the wish though in Universe and not all Universes. Probably includes the Universe God of Destruction and their Angel attendant. Given Whis was once stated to be 50% stronger to Beerus and has better or full control of Ultra Instinct. It's possible Granola is more powerful than him.
Mind we don't know that yet and that is me just speculating. Granola being less a physical fighter and more a sniper. He obviously in terms of skills is way lower outside his ability to see and manipulate pressure points/vital areas. Though it would make more sense how in his short fight so far was handing SSG Ultra Instinct Goku like it was a joke.

Potential what if ideas:
1. What if Katas (father of the nameless namekian who split into Kami and King Piccolo) went to earth alongside his son?
2. What if Kami decided to spit out eggs during the first King Piccolo war?
3. What if Piccolo decided to spit out eggs before Raditz arrived?
4. What if Turles and Tarble appeared in the Saiyan saga?
5. What if Gohan and Goten/Trunks and Bra were twins?
6. What if Cold was revived instead of Frieza? (Resurrection C)?
7. What if Tao was an upgraded cyborg (By that, I mean either like 19 and Gero or 17 and 18), and appeared in the Androids saga instead of the Piccolo Jr saga (You could replace him with Shen, who would've found the Dragon Balls and wished for eternal youth)?
8. What if Towa, Mira and Fu were under Babidi's command alongside Dabura?
9. What if Zeno was more mature?
10. What if Zarbon and Dodoria turned good (or, like Vegeta, planned to kill Frieza)?
11. What if Pan, Bra, Goten and kid Trunks were relevant/got to fight more?

Also, if this were to happen, that would mean that Goku would be able to gain the Beast Transformation, since the Beast transformation is confirmed to be a continuation of Ultimate.

It is still relevant. If Goku can Stockpile UI with SSJ Transformations, then he can do "Super Saiyan Blue Kaio-Ken X20 Ultra Instinct" So still relevant.
@@gboymachine9762 That isn't really possible. All SSJ transformations use rage to bring out power. UI is a technique of clearing the mind and letting the body act on its own. The ideas kind of collide so I dont see it happening. Maybe kaioken though, since its a technique as well and its able to be stack with everything else already, UI could even help him hone it even further...

@@cheeseismykryptonite If you remember, kai's and Angels are always in a state of UI. But when Zamasu fused, the Super Saiyan Rose was still active with UI. So it's been done twice as of now

What I think is, Goku would be more inclined to master UI, it'd be the next thing he can stack with Ultimate. In the current manga Whis is trying to get Goku to use his base with UI a lot more to truly master it, so that has to be the next step in this scenario.

I think goku will unlock ultra instinct when they're fighting granola and then defeat him. But the question is that can goku tap into ultra instinct while using his ultimate form? I could imagine a scenario wherein he treats ultra instinct as a technique or makes it so that he can "personalize his ultra instinct" just like in the granola arc.
In the manga it's show that Goku can use UI in his other forms. Since UI is a technique not a transformation.
Love how they use the hyperbolic time chamber for all time crunch situations after it's been reintroduced but for the biggest time crunch of the entire series they don't use it or even think of it. I mean they could've even used to wait out Buus hibernation.
Focusing back on the Potential Unleashed ritual,Gohan can get stronger like anyone else the only thing Elder Kai is release the peak of the fighters potential,Allowing the combatant to increase his power.

I would say Goku would learn Ultra Instinct at this point because Ultimate is the closest form to it. Rather than a flashy transformation that wastes power Ultimate allows you to perfectly access all the power within you which would evolve nicely into the state of mind needed for Ultra Instinct.
Goku's Ultimate Form should be stronger than Gohan's since he also has God Ki.

Yeah I see him getting omen, I think mastered could come from him facing Granola, it shouldn’t be that much of a strain on Goku, with his base far more powerful and durable, it’s just the ki drainage.
Be nice to see this happen combined with ui seem like the perfect combination of forms
When I saw the video in my notifications, I thought it was going to be about goku’s potential being unlocked by guru in the namek saga. That’d be cool to see though.

With Goku's ultimate form he obviously is growing much faster, and I think he would most likely be able to access Ultra Instinct Omen, but nothing higher than that form because of his limited experience with Ultra Instinct and the fact he never accessed the complete form of Ultra Instinct in the Tournament of Power.

I mean he did say in BOG that he didn't like it since it was a power he couldn't attain on his own. A better example would be the ultra divine water power up he got to beat King Piccolo though he had to endure like a days worth of intense pain

The thing with the unlocked potential form is that it's specifically for Gohan. His entire life is based on his potential so naturally having a form that is based on his potential just makes sense
If goku got ultimate it would not suite him as a fighter like goku he wants to grow his power and potential and wouldnt want it to spoon fed to him
But for gohan it suits him as his potential is unexplainable and keeps on growing even with the ultimate form

From what we see of her in the anime & manga she does seem to care about him. I could maybe see it working though would they live in her village or by Grandpa Gohan's house? Also Suno would probably allow Gohan to train but probably not until he reached a certain age, maybe the beginning of Z is when they could start training more seriously

I think his potential is already unlocked. I think that is what makes him special. He’s a Saiyan warrior who’s able to use his full potential. While people like vegeta and anyone else has to train much harder. For goku he’s able to reach heights much faster and easier than anyone and he’s a low class Saiyan.

Technically that times 100 kame was actually times 2,000 because if ultimate brings out all of your potential it also brought out blue x20 he even said it and kaioken 100 on top of that is insane
Okay so I did some math and I know it´s not important but goku and elder kai would only be in the room of spirit and time for about one minute in our time so yeah they wouldn´t loose anytime at all to recruit people if they had only stayed for as long as they needed to unlock goku´s potential. 1 minute on earth = one day in the time chamber.

I would argue that goku's ultimate would probably be a variant of super saiyan god, just because if it's drawing out the potential of his god forms that implies he is using god ki.

So how would Ultra Instinct interact with Ultimate? Would it remain a separate form? Or, since you have Ultimate incorporate all of Goku's forms, would it incorporate as well? If so, does that mean Goku in Ultimate is in UI with zero drawbacks?
I say considering Goku is not using God Ki as much in this state, if not by the start of the Granolah arc, the battle with Granolah in the manga rn would likely push Goku to UI again

The "ULTRA DIVINE WATER" was supposed to grant the person who drank it their full potential, but after goku drank it he just seemed to get a medium boost of power, I wonder how things would've went if he was really granted his full potential as a kid

Before Super and the U6 Saiyans, the only cannon super saiyans were Goku, Vegeta, and each of their children. If anything I would rewrite how Gohan, Goten and kid Trunks unlocked super saiyan
@@dragonmaster5377 actually Gohan's fine Trunks and Goten 100% change Just slightly Kid trunks super saiyan makes more sense but vegeta could have been more ruthless to trunks thus unlocking his super saiyan Gotens a hard change tbh since he doesn't have any real Motivations before goku came back to life i'd say push His super saiyan transformation a bit further to where Goku would be able to train him once he came back so he understands it better and gets a good concept on how to use it more.
I'd say in the gernola ark goku might get ultra instinct because of how powerful gernola is but I could be wrong.
I haven't watched the whole thing, but I think UI and Ultimate are going to be combined.
