As a coin / precious metal dealer….. I promise you that is not true… or anywhere close to true. If you asked anyone at that company’s upper management team or company shareholders if they would rather keep him or never have him as an employee again, but get the amount of money his weight in gold equals… they would all say gold. They would hire someone else, management would increase their bonus structure and shareholders would get a higher dividend payout. Loss prevention guy's (he's a security guard by the way, they are typically trained on accurate reporting) potential raise should go to bringing back the cashiers and store workers who lost their jobs to the self checkouts and the security team to begin with. Large businesses that rely on these things typically make the mistake that people aren't as honest as they think they should be and think this is a way to make even more of an obscene profit. Also, these places, Walmart, Zehrs, Loblaws, Metro, Sobey's, Kroger, Target, you name it are now clogging the nations' courts, police agencies and detention centres with petty charges of shoplifting because people forgot to pay for a $2 box of Nestle Smarties or M&Ms or whatever. It's already bad enough that big business is taking advantage of these supermarket workers in ways like filing life insurance on workers without their knowledge and the families not getting a cent as well as taking advantage of the "green stamp" program in the states of the very employees working for them as well. This is like the coal mining company "towns" of history where the workers were basically earning nothing due to the local housing, stores and other things owned by the coal company and the workers basically pay them everything. This is one of the reasons labour unions came about and it looks like we are repeating the last century again because about a hundred years ago, the fascists came to power and we are now seeing all of this again.
Prices are going up because retailers gouged them. The Kroger CEO admitted it. This lady is a POS, but corporate greed is why everything is so expensive.
I don’t think she’ll ever steal again, cause the thought of the police can come to your doorstep days after and arrest you, that would be nerve wracking to me
You're absolutely right. Most thieves think that once they leave the store they're in the clear, but the Lacey Police Department will press charges no matter the amount of the stolen items, and they will show up at your home if they can see your license plate on your vehicle in the store's pkg lot. They take this stuff seriously and RIGHTFULLY SO.
There's a judge who was seen skip-scanning at a Walmart. The second time, the cops came knocking at his door. Being a judge, they just asked him to go back and pay for the items.

I lived near a home with two dogs that continually barked while outside. They would leave and leave the dogs out barking. Finally one night I hàd had enough. I walked to their house and up the fence. Both dogs came running and barking like attack dogs to the fence. I let loose like a psycho and screamed ' STFU!!!!!!" They ran like rabbits back across the yard and tried to hide. I then left a note that said I hope you enjoyed your night out to have fun while the rest of the neighborhood had to listen to their dogs bark I made sure they knew this wasn't the first time and that on Monday I was calling. The dog catcher. I never heard those dogs back again

I could be 100% wrong (I don't think I am) but I feel like she is honestly a good person. I don't agree at all with what she did but I think there is a cause and effect. Some times good people do bad things. She absolutely deserved to get arrested but this process went as it is supposed to.. She complied with everything they asked her to do and did not resist. My family and I are fortunate enough to be a in a place where we never have to steal. We did work really hard to get where we are but not everyone was afforded the same opportunities that we've had and people will do what they think they must to survive. An example of that is, as much tax as we have to pay in this country, healthcare should be free. However, it is isn't and, in fact, is crazy f*cking expensive. I'm in no way disparaging you for what you said because theft directly contributes to increased prices for goods and I completely understand you point. I wish the Police could show this video to all the criminals. Because this is how an arrest is handled when the criminal shows respect to the Officer, answers questions and complies with the Officer. In return the Officer shows respect and nobody gets hurt. And more importantly there are no civil rights concerns. Also the lost prevention employee also made the arrest go smoothly.
Danielle has to take out the garbage first before she "allows" the cops to arrest her?? Wow. Those cops were something else., waiting so patiently on her. Very weird.

the fact that people still openly steal knowing these videos are out there literally breaking down just how detailed they will get to seek out theft is CRAZZZZZY. it’s 2024! everything is everywhere, ALWAYS!
She was so confident shopping, picking up a random toy and walking it to the service desk WITH a cart full of unpaid groceries (why didn’t anyone at the service desk see that and ask her A) why didn’t she do the return immediately, or B) why does she have a shopping cart full of groceries) and returned it. Like no fear, no care, no worries! I love it when the shoplifters get caught! Even though many get the charges dismissed, it’s still such a joy to watch them be inconvenienced at the very least😂
She might have been noticed by staff exactly when she came up to return that item with all that stuff in tow - they notified loss prevention and that guy watched her pulling off the “only brownie mix and bagel” in real time. I’m smiling writing the rest, I swear! 😂 She is all happy thinking she got away with it. Meantime dude from LP preps entire file and calls the cops. They show up at her door. Curtains! Why people refuse to think, eh! Today’s technology, and they still at it? I can understand kleptomania. It needs to be treated. But average shoplifting - just cracks me up!
@@Lispboy1A My thoughts exactly. Just because she did the bare minimum with how she behaved in keeping her tone low doesn’t mean we should be giving her praise and considering her “respectful” considering everything else - she still stole items and thought she could get away with it by hiding it amongst items she paid for at self-checkout along with trying to return items she didn’t even purchase. A common scheme they all think they can get away with as if cameras aren’t plastered everywhere. She may have been polite when interacting with the cops, but definitely no respect towards herself. It’s why she went from the door to the window with some bull about the dogs and “I heard it’s best to do it this way”- she knew exactly why they were there lol. She continued to act clueless and lie thinking they’re just going to magically believe her and go away, then getting upset when realizing she’s being arrested while still trying to be in denial about it all. She still gave them the runaround crying on the phone about how she “didn’t do anything wrong” and not wanting to go out the door by stalling. I wouldn’t give her any praise unless she actually learns her lesson from it and doesn’t ever do it again. Too early to tell for any of that just yet. I’m gonna’ be honest, if she brazenly did this and lied about it ever so casually knowing they watch everything like a hawk in stores anymore, she’s done it before elsewhere with this being the time she’s caught. I know we see people act like fools in these videos and are comparing her to those, but come on. This is scraping the bottom in terms of respect.
Well.... This video shows WHY, shoplifters aren't deterred from shoplifting! She blatantly stole and LIED about it, REFUSED to come out of the house, was ALLOWED to remain in her house, gets a ride with a nice conversation on the way to be "processed", doesn't spend any time in JAIL, then gets a "Courtesy Ride" home. Geez, I hope this "First time" experience, wasn't too harsh on her! The TRAMA she must have went through! I guarantee, this scared her so much, she'll never shoplift again!! Every one of us that WORKS, paid for this bullshit!!! We also pay for prices raised, due to THIEFT and having to incorporate "Lost Prevention/Security"! Here's a better idea..... HOLD THEM ACCOUNTABLE!!! Why should you or I, be burdened for NOT BREAKING THE LAW!?!?!? 😡
Totally agree with you! It’s absurd anymore… pretty soon there will be so many because of scenes like this one, the stores will close or just be locked warehouse style shopping! No more nice displays, vetch… 😢😢😢
Should at the very least, be 30 days in jail and having to pay double for what she stole, including what she got she returned that was not even purchased.
What you talking about? Some people don't have a way of having nice things without theft.... She might not have options to buy stuff she does not have the money for or it might have made paying for a house (not a trailer but a house) or a (newish car) possible. Not everyone will get those options from their work.....
And this is why, stores have to invest in costly surveillance cameras, so that they can monitor people like you, and in turn, have to raise their prices to cover the cost of the equipment. So, in other words, it is we the paying people that suffer the consequences of your stealing stuff that you didn't pay for!!

This is probably the best loss prevention officer I have ever seen. Bravo amazing job man. This guy is worth his weight in gold.
Ya....and prolly making slave wages from a billion dollar corporation that helps destroy the planet
He should be heading a program to teach this Bc store security can’t apprehend shoplifters
If theft at that store was bad for a few quarters they would just close up shop there.
This loss prevention guy is very organized and detailed, makes cops job a lot easier.
All that hard work and the justice system gives those bloody thieves a slap on the wrist.
I have a feeling this guy would succeed in any job he’s in. He’s clear, concise, articulate, intelligent, detail oriented, and confident! An ideal employee in any field!

I could list all the specific ways in which they commit fraud on the public, and the abuse that is so disgracefuly common against their associates, particularly as it pertains to the elderly, who are the most vulnerable. Only reason I didn't is bc this is already too long

Loss prevention guy needs a raise
Deserves a raise.
Needs to manage the entire loss prevention department! So impressive 🤗🤗
And people wonder why prices are going up and self check out is disappearing.
Self check needs to go away. And no theft ain't why prices go up. Prices go up regardless of theft
Prices are going up because retailers gouged them. The Kroger CEO admitted it. This lady is a POS, but corporate greed is why everything is so expensive.
I don’t think she’ll ever steal again, cause the thought of the police can

You're absolutely right. Most thieves think that once they leave the store they're in the clear, but the Lacey Police Department will press charges no matter the amount of the stolen items, and they will show up at your home if they can see your license plate on your vehicle in the store's pkg lot. They take this stuff seriously and RIGHTFULLY SO.

My family and I are fortunate enough to be a in a place where we never have to steal. An example of that is, as much tax as we have to pay in this country, healthcare should be free. However, it is isn't and, in fact, is crazy f*cking expensive. I'm in no way disparaging you for what you said because theft directly contributes to increased prices for goods and I completely understand you point. At least she's being cooperative and staying quiet and respectful. Good on her for that.
We are praising people in 2024 for being cooperative when being arrested? How low we have fallen as a society.
@@TwoBs I was about to make a point, but yours was better. I think my brain got fried from watching all these cop cams 😅 you made an excellent point
Yes, just like the black ladies, when they get arrested
@@Lispboy1AI get that but also if you’re going to be arrested the least people can do is deal with work consequences like an adult.
Our laws anymore, are a total joke, shoplifters and sovcits.
What you talking about? Some people don't have a way of having nice things without theft.... She might not have options to buy stuff she does not have the money for or it might have made paying for a house (not a trailer but a house) or a (newish car) possible. Not everyone will get those options from their work.....
As she exited the residence, she vaped in Patrolman Tranz’s face before Patrolman Carver took her vape pen.
It doesn't excuse what she did; but, she did apologize to him. Don't see that very often.
Catching shoplifters without even confronting them in the store. Isn't technology wonderful.
And this is why, stores have to invest in costly surveillance cameras, so that they can monitor people like you, and in turn, have to raise their prices to cover the cost of the equipment. So, in other words, it is we the paying people that suffer the consequences of your stealing stuff that you didn't pay for!!
Much appreciated the extra effort with the heads up subtitles. 👍
Her looking out her window reminds me of someone in a confessional at Church except she is doing the opposite of a confessional with her LIES!!😂🙏😂
😂😂😂
This guy is the most efficient and effective loss prevention employee ever! So organized and on top if what he needs. His way of investigation is the way to train the loss prevention new hires
U can't get away with anything today your always being watched
I just can't believe how many ppl steal and think it's ok .WTH
Reparations for something or another
Your insurance company and every other large corporation steals from everyone everyday....get a clue....she is not the bad guy....
She’s claiming she didn’t do anything but funny she just wanted to talk thru window right from the beginning before hearing what they wanted..
🤣
She looked extremely guilty by talking to them through the window instead of coming to the door lol
I will say she was extremely cooperative with the cops. Loss prevention guy is amazing at that job and he should definitely be a trainer for others doing loss prevention
Loss prevention dude has his shyte together! He aught to be the trainer for wally world nationally.
