Entitled Woman Arrested for Stealing $165 in Items from Hoboken ShopRite

- Around 3:33 PM on March 6, 2024, Officers Samuel Flores and Dylan Archilla with the Hoboken Police Department responded to a report of a shoplifting at ShopRite on 900 Madison Street. They entered the store around 3:40 PM and walked upstairs to the loss prevention office. In the loss prevention office, they met with the loss prevention officer as well as the alleged shoplifter, who was identified as 30-year-old Shaquilla.
The loss prevention officer informed Officer Archilla that he saw the woman enter the store around 1:00 PM and later attempt to go through self-checkout without paying for $165.00 worth of items. Some of the other items were paid for. Officer Flores placed Shaquilla under arrest for shoplifting. She was handcuffed and escorted to the patrol car.
Officer Archilla retrieved the items that she had paid for and they were placed into a police cr. Shaquilla was transported to the Hoboken Police Department for further processing. At police HQ, she was searched in more detail. Detective Milne finger printed and photographed her. Shaquilla was found to have no outstanding warrants. She was subsequently charged with shoplifting under 2C:20-11B(1) and released pending her court appearance.

I have never in my 65 years had my nails done. I do rub some nice cream on my cuticles before bedtime though. I do cut my own hair but that's easy since it comes down past my backside. Cheers!
I love having a mani and a pedi. At my age I am now in a position to be able to afford those luxuries. My husband and I worked for over 40 years so we could retire and live comfortably. When we were young many times we couldn’t afford extra’s. Theres no short cuts you must work for what u need and want! Also be a blessing to others 💕

It seems like there's a thought process when stealing from conglomerates, such as Walmart and the like. I think the thieves' thought process is: "They have millions and won't miss MY taking these items." No sense of honor in that whatsoever, but it would explain why this happens so frequently.

The reason these stores have given up prosecuting is because the prosecutors give them sweet deals and let them go , because they will delay the process of court just like Sovereign Citizen/Moorish Citizens and frauditers that tie the courts up and they can’t afford to keep taking time off going to court as a witness only for these lot to get an adjournment time and time again.

This is a common problem these days. Always has the latest iPhone, DoorDashes all their meals, pays for every streaming service, always driving a relatively new car, doesn't understand why they can't make ends meet.

On the News, I seen a New York Riteaid close up because so many people would come in, take what they wanted (or needed) and run out.
The Employees and the Store Manager just watched this go on. The Security Guard said that their NOT allowed to STOP the thieves or TOUCH them.

I'm from Paterson New Jersey but I live in AZ now I remember stealing from this ShopRite as a kid 11 or 12 and my mom caught me and took me back in ShopRite and embarrassed me in front of the whole store had the cops come put me in handcuffs then talked to me then let me go I can honestly say it scared the stealing out of me
