Line of Best Fit Equation | Word Problem | Algebra 2 | Eat Pi

In this video, I teach you how to find the equation of a line of best fit by going over a word problem. You have to draw a line of best fit, find the slope, and then write it in point-slope form.

Could using points on each end of the line work?

Good question! IF they're relatively close to the rest of the points, then you could definitely do that to draw your line. You'd still have to go through all the steps, but yes that could work.
But if the first or last points are far away from the rest of the points, then that wouldn't work. The 2 points you use just has to be close to the majority of your points 👍
