True but he was able to dunk like that already in high school. He usually doesn't do that though because he's so crafty with both hands to finish lay-ups, which saves up a lot of his energy.
Just shows that in the comparison from regular people to pro athletes, the only similarities are the ball used, and the dimensions of the court. Everything else is way crazier
In the sequence from around :35 - :45 kyrie has his left foot as a pivot, then he lifts the left foot and then takes his first dribble. Is that a travel?
Well from what I had read they played for about an hour and these are all clips from that game so it looks like throughout the whole game they had some pretty decent defense on him. That being said, Kyrie is already playing at an all-star level in the NBA. It's one thing to be a pro, it's another to be an all-star pro. Kyrie could outplay MOST other NBA players in a game like this as well ;)
the real funny part about this video is that on the bball courts its written "No Dunking" lol and Kyrie was throwing it down. i been at the msu rec. center before
Kevin powers Kyrie does this on a regular basis right now he's using 10% of what he does to professional athletes and he dominates lmao you should watch him more
To be quite honest these dudes were doing a damn good job of defending him. They kept him away from the basket and they contested just about every shot in this video.
im the biggest kyrie fan but i honestly had no idea he could dunk like taht haha i feel like hes gotten more atheltic since getting in the league which is scary
guy in red realising the difference between student basketball and the nba. Also who gives a shit about lebron entering the dunk contest kyrie needs to do the dunk, 3pt and skills competitions before the all star game
Why is everyone making a big deal out of this? This is a NBA all-star balling with a bunch of college kids! What on earth did you expect? The video would have gotten more hits if he was getting owned.
lets be honest.. he was shooting a lot of jumpers because he didnt want to get sued for breaking ankles because he could have crossed any of those young bloods at any second
he didnt even have a drop of sweat, imagine him actually trying...
My idol to ill see you soon irving
I'm in love with the description of this video.
That hesitation , was beautiful.
Regardless of our expectations we can appreciate what he does on the court, it's on another level.
thats dope man nice vid
At 2:08 The backboard says "NO DUNKING" LOL.....Uncle Drew at it again.
I didnt know kyrie irving had bounce like that... that windmill off the backboard was clean
See you in the playoffs next year uncle drew!
True but he was able to dunk like that already in high school. He usually doesn't do that though because he's so crafty with both hands to finish lay-ups, which saves up a lot of his energy.
or he just doesn't like dunking why dunk for 2pts when you can make a layup for 2 points
The guys he played against look solid, just shows how good the NBA players actually are
Too good, young blood!
did you get any autographs or pictures with him?
Just shows that in the comparison from regular people to pro athletes, the only similarities are the ball used, and the dimensions of the court. Everything else is way crazier
DAMN!!! That guy flew way past Kyrie when he tried to do the jumping shoulder bump.
Whats The Name of The Shoes He Wearing? ..
Ey, is that Brgy. Ginebra shirt at @0:13?!?!?!?!?
0:54 "Don't reach youngblood!"
my idol....beast
I thought he was gonna be doing crossovers and a bunch of tight dribble moves but he mainly just did fadeaways the whole time...
New Uncle Drew video.
Why not Uncle Drew?
Wow very nice idol
In the sequence from around :35 - :45 kyrie has his left foot as a pivot, then he lifts the left foot and then takes his first dribble. Is that a travel?
kyrie won skills challenge, won 3 point contest, let him dunk now. look at that final dunk holy shit
Well from what I had read they played for about an hour and these are all clips from that game so it looks like throughout the whole game they had some pretty decent defense on him.
That being said, Kyrie is already playing at an all-star level in the NBA. It's one thing to be a pro, it's another to be an all-star pro.
Kyrie could outplay MOST other NBA players in a game like this as well ;)
Is this Nephew Drew?
🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐
I want to see John Wall and Kyrie Irving play pick up on the same team.
UNCLE DREW... THATS MY UNCLE!!!
Okay Kyrie but do this to the people at your level it's like me (17 years old) playing middle school
I'm sure a lot of that excitement had something to do with the fact that it's Kyrie Irving doing it. Stop hating and enjoy the video.
He is really good
the real funny part about this video
is that
on the bball courts
its written "No Dunking" lol
and Kyrie was throwing it down.
i been at the msu rec. center before
Kevin powers Kyrie does this on a regular basis right now he's using 10% of what he does to professional athletes and he dominates lmao you should watch him more
How come nobody double-teams?
and ps look at the video of him owning kobe, westbrook, durant and harden at d same time
When was this? Why is he wearing last years hyperdunks lol
Kyrie can get up. I just wish he'd try dunking a lil more in game. He definitely can he says he just likes to save his energy
holy crap is that Drake at 0:47?
To be quite honest these dudes were doing a damn good job of defending him.
They kept him away from the basket and they contested just about every shot in this video.
This shit funny because he was the same age as most of them
this is Kobe-like work in the post
0:43-0:46
-Kyrie shoots it....he scores!
-(Drake appears) "Nothing was the same" lol
Prue talent right there
he gets up pretty high
"I got first pick. I'll take Kyrie. Who you got?"
THIS JUST IN: NBA ROOKIE OF THE YEAR BETTER AT BASKETBALL THAN NORMAL PEOPLE
that's how clean it was. i do the same thing all the time but it isn't a double dribble. It's an up fake and he switching hands.
Kyrie's been watching that tape...
LeBron...you would look pretty good in a wine and gold uni in 2014.
First post up is a walk
Im sure he passed the ball. He played for 1hour this was a 2minute highlight video.
Eat Sleep Lift is all i can remember.
did he just do a windmill alley oop?
yes
Haha dang dis nigga to cold
lmao I totally missed that
anyone see the guy jump to chest but Irving and got pure air.... I'm dead haha
rest of the team was probably asking red if he wanted to switch mans lol
im the biggest kyrie fan but i honestly had no idea he could dunk like taht haha i feel like hes gotten more atheltic since getting in the league which is scary
The defense was still pretty good though. Hand in his face for most of the shots.
well there goes kobe vs kyrie this summer
Uncle Drew without the makeup
1:18 Sums up what everyone else thinks playing against Kyrie Irving.
The sad part is this is nothing compared to what he can do. He's taking it easy on em
Nice
Too good! #Buckets
Young bloods
To be Kyries team you have to be young like me lol
who knew kyrie could jump like that
Your point? You would have been talking crap if he played anything less than this good.
would have been more impressive if he were still wearing the old man makeup.
seriously though, great to see kyrie finally win a game this year
He easily did a windmill and a 360 off the backboard lol
kyrie didnt win the skills challenge. he actually placed terrible. but he won the rising stars mvp and the 3pt contest.
Regardless if it's against some bums...that first highlight of those head-fakes is NASTAY.
His handle is getting out of control.
i mean this is kyrie irving !
double dribble at 0:07
He averages 22pts 5 assist and 3steals per game in the nba, if that's not doing it on his level on the regular than what is?
How tall is Ky?
6'3
6'3
he looks shorter than that. maybe because of his build.
this game will always be about buckets.
Is that Drake i see
one of the guys looks like Drake
they are players too and they are at his age :D
1:19 traveling
lol go watch his highs school vids.. he windmilled in warm ups!
Hey u commented
guy in red realising the difference between student basketball and the nba. Also who gives a shit about lebron entering the dunk contest kyrie needs to do the dunk, 3pt and skills competitions before the all star game
lol i knew someone would comment that
Just a kid having fun
Why is everyone making a big deal out of this? This is a NBA all-star balling with a bunch of college kids! What on earth did you expect? The video would have gotten more hits if he was getting owned.
Give the camera to someone who knows how to record.
word.. cuz he would have gotten brandon knight'ed and that would have went viral.
How did she/he call themselves "the biggest kyrie fan" when you didnt even know he could throw down like that? ha
0:40 got bodied!
0:46 Drake?
lets be honest.. he was shooting a lot of jumpers because he didnt want to get sued for breaking ankles because he could have crossed any of those young bloods at any second
lol that clearly says "NO DUNKING"
1:58 kyrie didnt give him a bump..
Why they let the current 3pt champ keep shooting...smh
He does, he schools people in the NBA.
