For me on catch and shot shots its always a one motion, just a higher release in midrange then, on the three and even lower on deep threes, only doing to motion when i get alot of forward or sidwards momentum on pull ups, also here i can go higher to on the release when im in the paint going for a short cj mccollum like jumper
On your vid 1is low and one motion 2. and 3. are two motion with higher release point right? I think Most of the time a higher release point is enough the "Control the Energy" as u said in the beginning, as Always great vid, will be using alot of exc. Thx
I hoped his shot would be fixed in the video. With his hop he always had this move where he position the ball to the dip. Never a fluid motion with a sense. It's front, down, shot. Should be down and shot. His legs/Base work like Desmond bane do it. He should Watch his shot and improve the motion. More 1 motion, more fluid, less thinking. He bricks too much because every shot looks different. Ones he hops, than he 1-2 steps. This is the clear mistake I see. In in-game he would have problems, because it's to slow. Slow release, slow motion. Bane is quick in the release and motion, so his short arms don't hurt him. While writing Tyler Herro comes in mind. Nearly same base. Also Aj Griffin is there, but he was extreme with the base and it worked in college.
@ByAnyMeansBasketball i really skipped a lot. I compared his first shots, with the last. It got better, but the ''catapult'' is the problem. If he hits it like Mikal, it's OK, but for me he bricks too much on open shots. Short, left, right. If he would brick always long it would be better. So the shot is constantly. (he also shoots to low) I like your work, but this job just started. For me he should change his base more. Tighter. If he wants to shoot like Mikal.
@ so you missed the entire part about him (and everyone) being able to develop MULTIPLE shots. Clearly. I’d love to have this conversation if you watch the entire thing 🤣

You must not have watched the video all the way through or gotten the point…
