Same for me! I was happy to see them live, while Merel was still with them. Absolutely the best line-up. Cannot get into the "new" version of Delain. The music is still good, but the vibes are off.
Delain is one of my all time favorite bands but there is just 4 new songs on this album - the rest is 10 live performances of their older songs. Not my cup of tea, but hopefully others will like it.

Sort of same, I just discovered the song trough minniva whom covered it amazingly! Oh they are great bands! The mix was right, this song has some similair Nightwish and Within Temptation sounds. Makes me wonder what other pearls I haven't heard yet, but I'm sure the songs will come onto path at the right time, like this one really resonates with me now.
Check out Epica. I do like Delain but I think Epica are way better on every level from insturments over singing to audio mix and master. And they are simply awseome live in concert😉

I discovered Delain few months before with the song pristine and in compliance, an old video in young age and i said mmmm certainly is a good band. I saw after a video song with Marco Hietala and i like more because I love Marco.I had seen all the videos in the TH-cam and live in paradiso and at the end i listened the hole albums. My dream was to see a concert with Delain but bad luck,i can't anymore!!! Great band 👍 very great musicians, singer and a fantastic composer. Just finding out yesterday that Delain have disbanded was a depressing kick in the gut for me personally. Having been a fan since the 1st Delain CD came out, and yet never having been able to see them play live ( and with them disbanding, that will evidently not be possible ), my musical heart is crestfallen with a profound sadness upon finding out they are no longer a band. That truly sucks....sigh...
every year, every album Delain grows, changes and evolves into Delain. Yes, they uniquely become more and more the band they envision with every breath sung, every bead of sweat poured, every note played they take Delain to the pinnacle. They have been my favorite band for five years, I cannot fathom that ever changing

This is the Real Delain. It's Amazing the sound, the real symphonic ambient in the song. This will be the bigger album of the band.

Charlotte is mystical in this clip, she looks like the same person yet looks like 3 different people as well and then in other clips she looks different again but still looks like Charlotte. I cant quite put my finger on it, amazing voice!

Just finding out yesterday that Delain have disbanded was a depressing kick in the gut for me personally. Having been a fan since the 1st Delain CD came out, and yet never having been able to see them play live ( and with them disbanding, that will evidently not be possible ), my musical heart is crestfallen with a profound sadness upon finding out they are no longer a band. That truly sucks....sigh...

every year, every album Delain grows, changes and evolves into Delain. Yes, they uniquely become more and more the band they envision with every breath sung, every bead of sweat poured, every note played they take Delain to the pinnacle. They have been my favorite band for five years, I cannot fathom that ever changing
They should just get it over with and create their own genre. Delain Metal.
