That was a lovely video and again I’m watching it at night. Getting all hungry because of you and Mike! 🥔 🍜 🥩 And I got my beautiful DJ logo hoodie delivered. 🍀
I've been to Cripple Creek many times. It's a nice little town. The next time you go, do it during the summer, then go find the free range donkeys that roam the town. They would have been in their winter pen when you were there. You should also take a drive down Phantom Canyon, it's a gorgeous natural canyon with amazing views and scenery.
Used to own one of the 2 brown cabins on the hill. Still remember what it was like before any of the casinos even existed. Still takes me back how much it changed over time.
Been there multiple times, one of the casino has a poker machine that's 8/5 on quarters and 9/6 on nickels. Only one that I've found like that in the whole town.
One of the best short road trips is the day drive from Black Hawk Colorado to Cripple Creek. With 14,000 foot peaks along the way, it's a must see! Cripple Creek is a great place to gamble. Don't expect a modern casino experience, it's an old gold mining town with small casinos along a main street. The odds are decent and the place is interesting. The only drawback is the altitude. I would never want to stay in Cripple Creek overnight, it's just too hard to breathe. During the day is OK, if you take things easy.
For sure. We are hoping to be back in August or September. Keep a watch on the page and discord, be sure to join and comment in that area where we all connect… discord.gg/KZw2urj3sT
It's sad what they are doing to this histori C little town I'm 63 and lived here my whole life the huge new buildings are destroying the history of this town they are demolishing it leave what's left alone please it can't be replaced
Fun place to go gamble but the food is very expensive and a lot of it is school cafeteria quality even at high price. Basically, the prime rib specials are about the only quality meals you will find and they're worth the $16-$20 or whatever it is now. If someone opened a McDonald's here they would be millionaires.
Living in Colorado Springs since 1998 so have been to Cripple Creek more times than I can count... always a beautiful drive up there and get away for a day. Had to stay many times overnight because of snow and being forced to stay overnight. Let me know what machines you like or where good to you because I never won anything in any of the casinos
Looked like you all had fun time together there. Thanks for the videos!!! See you two next time we get together!!! ❤❤❤
You bet! Can’t wait!

We agree completely. We didn’t seem to have trouble breathing, we did stay a few nights but certainly could see where that might be an issue.
Looks awesome. I've never been to Colorado. My favorite was the ice castle
Thank you. We can’t wait to go back! We loved the ice castles too!
