I've lived in South Pueblo for about a year and a half and not had a single problem. There is just one particular side of town that is bad. And you can easily avoid that side unless you have reason to be there.
Because putting in prices and putting in hard numbers will date the video and leaves it irrelevant in a shorter time. Prices and costs change quite literally daily. Even if the numbers were put in there, they would be outdated within a matter of weeks.
No sweetie, I grew up in Colorado, I moved out of the state almost 5 years ago. I grew up in a small town, related to majority of the people by blood or marriage. I honestly didn't like the state. Glad I moved out of the state! Sorry y'all!
Hello sir hope you are doing good. Me and my husband is actually planning to move from TX to Colorado. We have used car dealership business in Dallas. I would like to know how is the market there in Colorado for used car dealership? And which city should we count?
I have a near zero idea on the Colorado used car dealership landscape. People always need cars tho so any larger city would be the place I would guess?
Well I've spent over a year preparing for a specific town in Colorado, but you about have me sold on Grand Junction now and the video just started. I will know how to pronounce Colorado too so I might sound more local. Emphasize Rad. Radical start.
HAHA the whole ColoRADo vs ColoRODo thing wasn't brought to my attention till a few years ago. I am now very aware of who and how folks say the state's name. Come to CO with an open mind and be prepared to find something you love that you didn't expect. Every place certainly can have it's magic.
@@HashtagColoradoLife Yes, I can't wait though it looks like it may be next summer, at the latest, before we get moved. I have some family there but they live more rural. I am excited though was concerned about the CO Springs altitude having some effect but I was told that'd I'd just have ro get used to boiling water changes only if I used it in some measure. I can't wait and I don't think my family understands my rush. All I can say to them is "what is there to do when you walk outside here?" After the blank stares I exclaim "Exactly!" Then list off the activities just outside the door where we want to go. Anyways, stoked, and I appreciate the emails that brought me here. Now I share them with family not wanting us to leave. I'm not from here and it's not where I want to raise our kiddo. 🤷♂️ Colorado will have to prepare for us or we should hopefully blend right in 😁
@@generalconsumer9520ur story has resonated with me so well. I fell in love with grand junction and have some family members trying to talk me out of things. I’m in Alabama right now and there’s nothing to do when u walk outside. There’s so much adventure in and around grand junction and u are a couple hrs drive away from Colorado mountains or Utah mesas. Weather and altitude is also a big plus as well as crime rate and ability to choose school systems (Alabama schools r zoned here)
What constitutes as “affordable?” Is it affordable for Colorado or affordable compared to…. ? I’m moving from southwest Missouri, I’ve never paid more than $600 for rent on my portion, and make maybe $2.5K a month.
Cost of living average compared to both natl average and the average of other CO cities. Many places in CO can be rather pricey in terms of housing but have a lower cost of living offset in other avenues (food, utilities, etc).
We didn't gloss over the reasons. These places are cheaper cause of the locations and smaller populations. You should check out the other video we have about the most expensive places to live in Colorado!
The housing market in Colorado is expensive but there are places where you can find affordable housing. There are many places great for senior living as well! A lot of cities cater to retirees and seniors!
All these places already "suck". And your video is going to WRECK all these places. Grand Junction has been a mini California for years. T-down. Let me guess...you might be a realtor.
Wow, one video is going to wreck each of these places? We didn't realize our tiny channel was so influential. No, we're not realtors. If you watch our other videos or read the blog you know we have day jobs in the food and teaching industries.
True. But this is a problem that happens across the country and not just in CO. The numbers might be a bit different or inflated here, but steep rent hikes are a tale as old as time.
Pueblo and Canon City = CRIME, CRIME, CRIME!
Ghetto, ghetto, ghetto
Oversold on the Internet

Guys try the Midwest. Pennsylvania is affordable and the Midwest is most affordable like Minnesota.
We have family who live in Minnesota and we agree that it's a great state too! Very pretty landscape
Great presentation. Thank you. GG
High praise! Thank you!
You left Alamoso off the list. That city is superior to La Junta, Pueblo, and Trinidad and every bit as affordable. 2 cents. Cheers
Alamosa is a very nice town in Colorado but it is pretty small for sure. Thanks for watching 👍
Greeley smells!
That's just your finger.
@@jillphillips8117 It is a cow town, full of slaughter, it stinks!
Golden also smells. It's the brewery
Smells like $$$$
But only if you're not a sheep or a bovine.
If some place is cheap, there is normally a reason for it.
Sometimes yes that's true. But it just depends on what is a pro or a con for each person.
Nothing in Colorado is cheap!
The beautiful scenery and mountain destinations definitely drive up the cost of items, that's for sure!
The smells in Greeley are free. Free smells. 🐄🐄🐄
How are you going to make a video about CHEAPEST places to live but not include anything regarding pricing…?
Because putting in prices and putting in hard numbers will date the video and leaves it irrelevant in a shorter time. Prices and costs change quite literally daily. Even if the numbers were put in there, they would be outdated within a matter of weeks.
Probably because the internet allows you to quickly do it yourself :)
I grew up in Colorado, I moved almost 5 years ago 😅
Did u enjoy the state? Any areas you recommend?
Awesome, welcome to the state! We love it here.

Move to the eastern slope. Front range. Denver. Ft. Collins. Boulder. All of those places are the same as moving to California.
That pic right there is not Lamar it is a town called Moffat with a turn off to crestone.
Yes, correct. We have lived and visited all over the state so we have lots of photos. Thanks for watching 👍

$600 might get you a 8x10 storage shed in Colorado.
@@HighCountryRambler you can get a bedroom in a house with a bunch of people for that price, I’ve already been checking.

Native to Colorado and lived in Pueblo and has very high crime rate. Violent crimes big time.
