landscape fabric is not meant to stop grass and weeds, it may to an extent but that is not it's purpose. Landscape fabric and road fabric is intended to keep your gravel from being mashed into the ground and disappearing when it rains. Blow dirt and sand can blow into your rock or gravel and grass will grow into that.
David, you already have a weed/grass killing solution. The propane torch you burned your wood with. I used to use it to clean my in ground gardens in the spring, kill grass in the concrete joints etc. I now use it to clean up my gravel driveway and around my cabin and garden. The ashes also feed the soil and if the ground gets hot enough around the base of the weeds they won't come back except from remnant seeds. Texas Deb ❤

Hey David, I have a great idea. Take your pressure washer and wash those big rocks. Then paint them different colors. Use them to make a border around your rock area. A barrier like border. Would look awesome. You could then get Lyssa to hand paint flowers on the different colored rocks. It would be an interesting and unique rock garden for your future visitors. It's a little hard work moving the big rocks into place and a few dollars for paint.

David please don't paint the rocks. I have seen some suggestions on painting them natural is what C'mon Mountain is all about. The paint would wear off eventually not be natural. Don't comment much but watch every video since you moved to Arkansas. The ones with Margarita makes this old lady smile because ya'll are so happy and funny with each other.😄☺️

The fabric will stop weeds and grass but gravel has s a ND in it and if seeds happen to blow in there they will grow. And that is everywhere.
