I feel so bad for Sweet Little Domino. With his short little legs, he makes a beeline to follow you, only for you to turn around and leave once he finally arrives. Poor little guy. Please make some sort of side car basket for him to take him with you. He loves you so much. Think along the lines of the cartoon Snoopy and The Red Baron. That's who he reminds me of.
Those heaters are good ones, they are just like the ones we have for back-up heat in our home. We have central air and heat but when the power goes out in the winter, we risk our pipes freezing, or us freezing, so we bought back-up heaters for that purpose. So far they have been amazing! They keep our home nice and toasty warm!😊❤
You was saying before that your propane tanks would freeze up maybe you should build some boxes & put Insulation inside them to keep them from freezing up

When wrapping tape on your fitting s remember lefty loose Righty tightly so wrap tape backwards so tape won't back off when tightened some may not know this
Digiten wireless thermostat plug. You plug things into and it controls the temperature, plus has a remote to adjust as needed. We have 1 of these on our tv stand heater, because it came with out temperature controls. Works great 3rd year using it. Also be a good idea to cover those tanks and hoses, they will prabally last longer if you do.
C'mon David i think it would be a great idea to put a wood burner stove in the cabin it would give it a nice cosy feel to it and you will never run out of wood Lol ,and you build a shelter which is also insulated for your propane tanks rember to take things easy and you & Levi enjoy your fishing trip lots of Love from Betty Ann Jenkins from Bristol UK England
suggestion need a larger tank something like 1000 gallon set up on keep full service granted expensive to set up talk to suppliers they work with you piece of mind especially winter but more spring when river is high not have to worry about small tanks running out would think a gas fireplace be good looking in log cabin
get an RV dual cylinder auto change over regulator for the propane hookups. saves from having to bleed/burp the lines and relight appliances. Last I looked, $30-$40
Its going to be super cosy in the cabin this winter 😃 But is there a reason that the heater is so high up on the wall? The teachings of Gary tell us that heat rises, so wouldn't it stay much cooler below the heater and be more difficult to keep the seating area warm? Or maybe its where it is because you and Gary are so tall that his teachings about heat will play out perfectly in the cabin? 🤔 But then what about Margarita? She is just pocket siized and much closer to the ground 😧🙈
I got the same type of propane heaters in my cabin, in fact I have three of them but a different co. but they work well. I heat my cabin with wood normally but if things go sideways with the weather I will fire up the units as needed.

With your new heater in the cabin on the wall where you have it, is the material above it that covers the ceiling far enough away it don’t melt? I have a heater like that and I know the heat goes up on them also and gets hot as heck. Looks good buddy!

FYI. You are supposed to use yellow tape on gas fittings. Gas has higher pressure. Looks like you were using white tape. Good thar you checked things with the soapy water.
Do you have to crack a window to provide some type of ventilation? What size of heater do you think a 300 sq ft Shabin would require? Do you get the condensation that people talk about with propane heat?

I don't understand the need to keep heat in a building without water. Without water, there would be no water to freeze, and I do believe that's the only reason to winterize. I was just wondering. It would be cheaper not to heat the cabin unless you were using it.
Does your neighbor have electricity? Perhaps electric could be installed as SLR had electric run from their neighbors pole. I would imagine it would be expensive but look at the cost you put out in gas and propane continually.
Janice, he has addressed this numerous times. The initial cost just to run it to the mountain was 25K. Thats before the rest of poles, wires, connections etc etc., would be added.

I still watch in ya’ll are doing a project.. just seen one off your TH-cam tricks to get views.. moving off the mountain..really… please just do projects on the mountain…
