I haven't started the last mystery quilt, except block one. Life happens. It might be my vacation project at my mom's house. She taught me your applique method, but I have yet to attempt it. Love this video....I have the seasonal book and only need to finish 2 more and am going to make a quilt out of them....It will be a wall hanging....I LOVE THAT BOOK AND ALL YOUR DESIGNS... and I am so looking forward to another mystery...can not wait..
I would bet that if you put a light batik or muslin backing, you can hang these in a window and they will glow like stained glass. I had bought the book Seasonal Silhouettes and it was damaged in a plumbing leak in my studio! I’ll get another copy. Some of these patterns I can’t wait to try and so beautiful!

What size stitches do you use on the applique?
I love the video. But I was hoping to see you actually sewing your pieces down. That is the hardest part for me. I'm working on the Seasonal Silhouettes patterns. I have made three of them. I don't quilt the inside, though. After all the work putting it together, I don't want to take the chance of ruining it by quilting it.
