IX of Cups + VII of Swords = Your wish comes with an expected twist. This was my favorite! People tend to read the VII of Swords as a negative card, but that's not always the case, as your reading shows. Thanks, Lynn!
Hey Dani, I'm so glad you brought this up! I have several cards in the deck that, over time, I've come to see them in a totally different light than the mainstream meanings. For your enjoyment, here is a partial view of this card from my personal journal: This is typically a card of lies and deceit. Maybe someone has stolen something from us. It could be material things, but it could also be stealing our ideas, or our thunder, or our identity. While it’s not fair to us, sometimes we can find ways of evening the score, or leveling the playing field, of taking back what is rightfully ours, or something we lost, such as our dignity, our confidence, or the truth. The problem is, we often go about it the wrong way. And two wrongs don’t make a right. If this is the case, check in with yourself; acknowledge the tactics you're employing now. There comes a time when we need to fly under the radar, a situation calling for stealth-like moves. This usually occurs when we’re trying to get away with something. We are getting ready to break an agreement; shirk our responsibilities by sneaking off, or taking the easy way out. But being a lone wolf also means being good at thinking on your feet, covering your tracks or deploying the tricks you keep up your sleeve. Life is so much easier when we simply come clean with others. It can stand for an impulsive act when a careful plan is required. The flaw of habitually hiding, for no reason, one’s true plans or intentions [my brother does this! It's annoying as Hell!) This card comes up when we’ve misjudged a situation. It’s a warning that we can’t pull something off, so we better have a plan B. Lynn XXOO
I just love these. If you ever have the time to put these into a book on your Etsy site I’ll be the first to buy it! I love your perspective on these card combinations. You have such a fun, practical, positive approach. I honestly can’t wait each week to see what your new videos will be. Thank you for all of your hard work. Your passion and enthusiasm for tarot are absolutely contagious and you are a joy to watch and learn from.
I can't tell you how much I appreciate your kind words. If I can come up with another 100 or so combinations, I might just grant your wish! I'll keep it in mind. If you have any area of Tarot you'd like to see more on, just let me know. I'm always looking for new and unique ideas! Lynn 💖💖
Lynn, I loved this series! Best of all was the glimpse into your personal journal that you kindly shared re the VII of Swords - so inspirational. Thank you so much and keep the good stuff coming!
Very kind of you to say! I was thinking of doing some 3-card combos, too. I've actually done some in the form of story building and other one-off videos. I love the fun side of Tarot! And that piece from my personal journal was only half of what I have for the 7 of Swords. I'm a little obsessive when it comes to finding unique interpretations of the cards. My journal is now 42 typed pages. 🙃 I'll keep hunting for the good stuff! Lynn XXOO
