Hi Lynn! I think you are very brave to tackle this subject. I'm Acadian, and my grandmother read my cards since before I can remember. It was a part of everyday life, and no one raised an eyebrow. What fun we had! But later in life, when I moved to a more English, Protestant area, some people were VERY upset if I brought up the topic of tarot, let alone the topic of tarot and kids! ha ha. For my family, it was a fun activity that let us learn about one another and provided a LOT of laughs because my grandmother could put on quite a good show! This video was the cutest thing ever. Annabelle is such a wise young lady that I learned new tarot meanings from her ... and I've been reading tarot for decades! I can't wait to see more of the series!
Thanks you so much for your comment! It sounds like you have such good memories! I don't think Tarot is as "taboo" today as it was when we were growing up, but I'm living in South Texas, which is still considered heavily "Bible belt", so while I'm finding people who are interested in having their cards read (chakra clearings, energy cleansings, as well) much of it is done on the down low. As for Annabelle, she is a hoot to work with, that's for sure. Please be sure to watch the next two videos as they are all about her! Thanks again for watching! Lynn 💖💖
