And with not much production or other industry other than ag an tourism, there is a lot of state with not much income to support that state. We have no state income tax, and most cities/counties in Wyoming have low property taxes, vehicle registrations, sales tax, etc.
There is also a local income tax, the rate depends on what county you are in.
