- 🌟 Get ready for the next episode of our New Mexico miniseries on Adventure Sena! 🌟 Tim and Ryan continue their desert adventure at the mysterious Bisti Badlands, also known by the native name De-Na-Zin, meaning "Standing Crane." This otherworldly landscape formed over millions of years through erosion, creating a stunning array of unique formations that will leave you in awe.
Join us as we explore the cracked eggs formation, where perfectly rounded rocks look like melting, fossilized eggs straight out of a Salvador Dali painting. 🥚 Marvel at the ancient petrified wood scattered across the desert, offering a glimpse into a prehistoric forest that once thrived in this desolate badland. 🌳 Navigate through tabletops and rock gardens, showcasing the surreal beauty of this rugged terrain. And don't miss the majestic Eagle's Nest Spire, towering above the landscape like a sentinel of the desert. 🦅
Remember, the best views and formations are found by entering the park from the west side, and going off the obvious beaten path. The east side, while still beautiful, has much less to offer in terms of unique sights. In addition, temperatures can soar, so pack more water than you think you need, travel in cooler months if possible, or plan to arrive by 5am to enjoy the entire area in comfort. 🌄
Don't miss this adventure through one of New Mexico's most fascinating and visually stunning landscapes!
