This is the dude that made me start producing when I was 16. Im 34 now, and my career is a joke, but I will continue until I die because I love it! Thanks Scott
Thanks for keeping it real Lmfao
@@semyaza555haha second this
Just keep going
i think because u took the wrong way, we have to know the history of music 1920 till now and all world music, for understand
@@lartisan6274i thìnk the same as you. tell me more
Not enough people know how much of an influential producer Scott is. Met him in Miami once and he was a nice guy. Glad to see he’s doing well.
"he was a nice guy.?" he is 😀😀😀
That's whats up not sure why someone said that he's an asshole they might have just caught him on a bad day or approached him in a weird way to which he didn't like or feel comfortable with
@@DocKaosBeats u know when he did all the best tracks, he was snorting white all day, so maybe that gives him muse to create.
he’s one of the GOATs in my book

Genre and era defining talents
@@poindextertunesand Timbaland right ??
The pitch bending went CRAZY!!!!
the pitch bend on "let me love you" he just did so easily, lmao. totally gives the melody more feeling.
This man defined a whole generation of hip hop music.
I love when musical savants describe their childhood as, “Eh, I just started playing what I heard.”
But it’s easy to just match the harmonics
I could listen to Scott for hours talking about music, such a chill and inspiring dude🙌
❤
It's crazy to think of how many hours Scott has spent on a keyboard. He's been obsessed since 8 or 9 years old??? He's put in so much more than 10,000 hours.
The GOAT 🐐
Practice AND determination. Very important, without determination practice is dull and pointless
One of the dopest producers EVER!!! He really can play those keys🎹🔥🔥🔥
"Is ya man, on the floor, if he ain't, let me know" Scott is a LEGEND
One thing I learned through trial and error about melody is that the rhythm is everything. The push and pull between the notes and the spaces between them. Just adjusting the rhythm and spacing in a melody a little bit can change a boring melody into something special.
Totally agree!
I really think rhythm is the most important element. Rhythm is what people dance to and dancing is such a primeval activity that people react to rhythm so readily. I think that anybody learning piano should learn to add rhythm really early on because it brings a whole new level of excitement to the instrument. Adding rhythm between the left and right hands even in quite a basic way can make a beginner feel like they're playing the piano like someone with a lot more experience than they actually have, it's so motivating!
I think its part of what made isley brothers so timeless and able to compete from the late 50s all the way to 2020s, they didnt have a dedicated drummer (ernie could drum, and im sure chris as a key player became useful for drums in the 80s) they had a guy for live and studio drummer but id imagine a larger percentage of their creation process was just bass, guitar, and keys, but they push and pull off of eachother in such a way that basically dictates the drum pattern before its even played, then you add that kick drum so that the bass notes push off of it and its such a pocket created
you're such a f*ck**g legend. made the entire world bounce and nobody even knows. huge inspiration. you shaped an era. crazy.
Storch on the keys is kinda similar to watching Araabmuzik on the MPC to me..they're able to use their instruments in ways that go beyond how they were originally intended and pull things out of them that can only be learned through discovery and experimenting on your own. So dope to watch!
This dude is sick.. One of the Best to me.. Dude is cold..
100%
Absolute Legend!!!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
The most in-depth I’ve heard from him - nice!
Scott is a Super human. He’s top 3 producers of all time
Who’s your other two
@@sciencefact I'll jump in here and say Timbaland and Zaytoven,
timbaland i can agree but zaytoven nah my guy but im not trying to change yor mind@@zilvente
@@sciencefact No, you are right, his accomplishments are nothing much, I'm just looking at it from a talent point of view.
This dude is amazing on the piano …
So creative
Things he did with the pitch wheel insane techniques
I now want to see what he can do with Osmose.
Thanks for sharing your Talent Scott
Searching for Scott's videos on youtube is my another addiction,he is freaking inspirational ❤
really like his sound.. one of the best
These are some of the Scott Storch's Jams(Gems) Originality and skills appreciation!!!
You are a legend for real your music is timeless.. Stay blessed .
sheesh mane, you are onto it! loved the rhytm at 2:23. thanks for showing your talent
Love the guy’s producing skills and always respected them even more as many of his skills are self taught. That takes a different level of determination and discipline.
a real Legend !! i can watch hours of videos of him
to expand on that pitch bend, it's always fun to tune your piano down a bit .. 440hz --> 425hz so when you're playing in C you're getting something between C & B .. really gives your playing a different sound!
Such a boss. One of my all time favorite producers.
This guy is a great talent he made so many rappers today famous bye his keyboard talent a legend glad to see you clean and sober .
That let me love you sound is so original. He is the GOAT!
Scott, legend.

Legend
This guy is really talented I’m sure he will blow up some day
I really think he will bro i really think he will. Well....
Maybe, hes quite old though...
Scott is a Legend, he already blew up.
🙄
I am from Europe and absolutely not a ganster type of guy, rather an emo punk but I love rappers like Biggie, Eminem, Big, 50C L etc. because they really had something to say and the style was so unique, I was wondering is it all just them? But then I discovered they have great talented company like Scott around them also. And its the greatest thing that he even shares his knowledge instead of hiding it. Thank you so much!
Scott is one of my Top 3 producers. That actually plays a instrument and makes the beat.I disagree when folks try to say thats only beat making when actually producing music is, playing instruments, writing, arrangment, directing, mixing, mastering. All those hats combined. Not just slapping a popular name on it to get credit 😜. Scott is one of the few that you can see on TH-cam actually playing. Im not against sampling & sequencing or programming, but most producers today dont play any instruments at all, just programming, or conducting someone elses idea (remixing).
💯
nerd
a producer is a producer, if u looking for an instrumentalist or keyboardist then say so. stop downplaying other producers. a producer is someone who produces music. nowhere is it stated that u need to be an instrumentalist.
@@olabassey3142 There's different levels to producing albums, a producer is not just a producer, if that's the case tell that to Dj Khalid and all the rest who classified beat makers separately from producers. Pay attention to the game b4 you talk. Re-read my post, how is it down playing if someone can do the mixing, beat making, arrangements, writing, editing, mastering, sampling- programming all on there own, like Dj Quik, Pharrell, Timbaland, Dj Battlecat and a FEW others in hip hop. There is a difference, you save a lot of 💲. And your more valuable to artists who are looking for someone who can vs those who can't, so go study the game and stop hating, you sound ignorant. My first original post was given Scott Storch his props for PLAYING his music and producing Hits in his catalog. And to Learn as much as you can by playing real instruments also. This includes fixing equipment, taking apart your instrument and putting it back together, setting up your equipment & instruments as a sound tech, cleaning your instruments & equipment, and tuning your instruments, that's all included of being a MUSICIAN. What wrong with that? Nothing. WHY WOULD A MUSICIAN HAVE A ISSUE WITH THAT? OR BE OFFENDED WHEN THATS WHAT WE DO. So I can tell by your post you must not. That's why alot of music sounds the same right now, programming the same rhythm, or loops, drag n drop into lower or higher keys, pasting computer Ai loops. There's more to creating music if you can play real instruments as well. By the way I do both. I play my own instruments not just piano or keyboards, various instruments are used. So If I decide to higher another musician then I can, but I don't have to rely on that. 💯 REAL TALK.
You right . I always like producer who plays instruments
Awesome! This is legend stuff!
This man is a genius! 💯🎶
Scott is the master of the game.
The best!!
This is the man.
Happy he came back and didn't let the powda take him out. He's a legend.
Legend 🔥 and he’s right about that pitch bender. I like the joystick one better than the wheel. I think only Roland and Korg keyboards have these.
Such an inspiration
I love Scott Storch

Boss, love this dude. Inspirational
💟
Scott is the man.
I'm definitely no Scott Storch, but some of this I can definitely relate to, myself also being self-taught. Particularly the part about building basic chords, and experimenting with adding / modifying notes to make new chords without knowing what I'm doing technically.
Music isn't all about the technique! 🙌
Scott is a beast
So much I learned in this
thanks for existing mr storch

Love this cat. Legend and so many bagers
Legend of the game
🎹🔥
That simple joy stick - making a hell lot of difference setting you apart from the rest.
The 🐐
Nowadays producers make noise , this guy delivers everlasting melodies
I wish I learned this when I was younger but nobody knows anything music related other than being a DJ and knowing what people liked. It helped but only to a certain extent. I'm the only one who's making music rather than playing other people's music
Genius! ❤
That pitch bend he used was genuis
One of the greatest hip hop producers of all time
awesome video
Scott storch has so many hits, it’s ridiculous. In the 2000s, he has multiple production credits on the billboard at the same time for different artists
