@@matthewwalker7441 thats what i was quoted for a single cab steel tray with trundle drawer also with 1 two thirds length canopy and another 1 third lenght canopy, painted with nothing at all it the canopy.

Thanks for the honest answer. The reality is that 99% of the rigs you see done up this way are promoting a business are basically a business expense. These just aren't for "normal" folks to own privately..
Here I am Struggling to buy a old 2x4 or 4x4 for less than $10g with a heap of kms on it.. but I admire you, I’d rather drive that than some fancy sports car that you can’t go off road! And that thing looks awesome 😎 well done 👍 was an epic 1st day drive you gave it in those bog holes 👊🤙👌💪🏾

The ultimate 79series. If I had the coin, I wouldn’t build it any different. This is how they should start from the factory!
This is the strongest base car to build off, no question.
Yes they have weak points but once enhanced, what a machine. Save from building a 4x4 trophy truck, this is the ultimate legal off road driver.

If they were built like this from the factory you wouldn't see 79's being built from the factory at all
thankyou so much for this. It really gave me an insight on which companies to go to for parts and custom add ons. As well as which order to get the parts in. Top video guys, more people need to do these kind of videos

REY V g wagons aren’t that good, forest fire management Victoria got a bunch of g-wagon utes and had to take them out of service cause on a lot of them the reverse gear wasn’t working

Much respect for you guys on highlighting the price; in fact I can't recall any other such channel that mentions the price. Just imagine if you'd gone for the automatic conversion and portal axles..another 45k added..

me to! ,I like hyper / super cars can do 200mph where can you drive them ,race trac , id still rather buy a lc and be a off roader , don't have to worry about speeding tickets ,

I live in the USA and I just did a quick calculation to American dollars and that is approximately $181K US. Wow! Wow X 2!!! Well, for starters we don't get those 79 Series and that is too sad! Cheers mates..

That's just the most stupidly insane cost and set up I've ever heard...for a gas guzzling, heavy fat tank, and one that can get bogged, and has... just as easily, if not easier, than any other decent 4WD for under 60k. Wow. I don't even know where to begin with this lunacy...

That's very easy a standard norwell canopy is 25g the you put all the extra on plus fitting 50 g easy
That's including everything in it remember. The electrics in it would have to be 20k

Can you do the same for the dmax that would probably be over 100g wouldn't it including purchasing. But eather way love the truck and great too see it being used and used hard and not just at home in the garage
I would say its good to have modifications but never straight off from the show room use stock until the warranty.
