  • I decided to share a video showing you how I make my fabric mask or cloth face mask using a good quality cotton fabric, some elastic and my sewing machine. This face mask has space to insert a filter however it is not a medical grade mask.

PLEASE NOTE THAT WEARING A MASK IS NO SUBSTITUTE FOR ESSENTIAL PREVENTIVE MEASURES LIKE WASHING YOUR HANDS AND PRACTICING SOCIAL DISTANCING; it is simply an extra precautionary measure that has in fact been recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and prevention (CDC).
An article which (can be found on www.cdc.gov/co... ) was last reviewed on the 13th of April, 2020 states that "CDC recommends wearing cloth face coverings in public settings where other social distancing measures are difficult to maintain...". It also says that "CDC also advises the use of simple cloth face coverings to slow the spread of the virus and help people who may have the virus and do not know it from transmitting it to others."
Remember that it's our collective responsibility to stay home and stay safe.
