Yeah she said they werent that good of friends before this season. They only knew each other a bit. They saw each other a few times and said hi but never hung out or anything. Those were her own words.
Actually, on an interview before, Parvati said that she and Ozzy weren't THAT good of friends after Cook Islands. They said hi and hung out, but they weren't extremely close, so she was surprised at how hurt he was here. Either way, they're good friends (I think), especially when you see Caramoan's first Live Aftershow.
Ozzy's reaction has some justification for it. He obviously acted from pure emotion to Amanda, because at the time he did have legitimate feelings for her. So after all this time being blindsided by someone who broke up that bond and moreover was in cahoots with him, it does sting a bit. I just hate that he did take it personal with Parv back then. At the very least, he did apologize to her numerous times. Ozzy may not be the best player in the show, but at least he is quite the character. Heck, I think this reaction is better here than the whole "I'm going to be a free agent" crap from South Pacific.
I was shocked at how hurt he was tbh, and I understood how hard it must've been for him to be blindsided and separated from Amanda. I took Parv's side though and I was completed disgusted when I found out he cheated on Amanda the day of the finale and during Micronesia cheated on his preg GF with Amanda.
If we're being real, this was a bit over dramatized. It is a game about survival. But he was being genuine, and that's something to be appreciated. I can't really ever get mad at the dude. Plus, his speech to Amanda was the sweetest thing ever!

well you have to realize ozzy and parvati have been friends for a while now. They've known each other since Cook Islands. They've formed a friendship since then and went into Micronesia as people who respected one another.

I could list them, but I’ll start with David (millennials vs gen z) and let me explain why he and so many other people like him are much better than Parvati. He was hated at first, scared of everything, and on a not liked tribe. They talked about voting him out at MANY tribal councils, yet he didn’t go until 4th (sorry if you haven’t seen the season yet). He turns from this neurotic crazy person to a person that CAN make a fire, and CAN win a challenge, and CAN help a team and CAN prove he can change. He was left with a group of people that went really on his side, no one was really except a few people, and he STILL managed to come out close to the top. Watching the show, having been able to eat, drink water, and sleep (so I’m not deprived), I can’t even string together how he made it past some votes. Sure, some of it is luck, but at the end of the day he’s only as lucky as everyone else allows him to be. It takes SKILL to get where he got and he played a very VERY good game. I firmly believe he should have won, and I think it was a smart move on everyone else’s part to vote him before the final tribal (I believe they even said that he’d win if he was able to stay, but I don’t remember 100%) Parvati does have some skill, I will say that much, and don’t get me wrong. Everyone who makes it to the merge has some kind of skill in the game in my eyes, so I’m not saying she isn’t skillful or talented when it comes to this because she DEFINITELY IS. I am saying, however, that she started off liked, she started off without a mindset like David. She had it easy (well as easy as survivor can be) and she wasn’t scared of everything. I also think she flirted her way through some games (more specifically China) and I found it REALLY annoying. Im kind of grossed out that Parvati got credit for the Ozzy blindside. That was all Cirie, Parv was just the swing vote. Its like saying Kass epically blindsided Sarah when really it was Trish's move.
I guess you're right. But Cirie > Parvati in my book. Mostly because Parvait didn't play at all her first season while Cirie played balls to the wall all 3 seasons. If Micronesia has been a Final 3, Cirie would have won so easily.
Ozzy is still my favorite survivor ever. He may be a sore loser but he was a man of his word most of the time, he made the games interesting, and I think that him changing his playing style this game just screwed him over. He 100% deserved to win Cook Islands because as much as people say he didn’t have any strategic or social strengths, he really did. He had to make sure him and his alliance made it to the end, he had to pick the right alliance, and he had to make sure people liked him and he still told the truth a lot. He played a very honorable game, and I enjoyed seeing him practically carry Aitu (with the help of Yul I will admit, but he pretty much carried them) and kept winning immunity to 1) stay in and 2) help make sure the Aitu 4 stayed in power. He brought everything to the table and didn’t make me want to shoot myself in the head (like Russel (Hantz. I know he ain’t in this season but still) Jonathan Eliza and Parvarti) and I really enjoyed that season because of him. I was happy to see Yul Becky and him in the final 3 but Ozzy deserved to take it all he really did bring everything and was overall my favorite survivor ever. This season did however show me Ozzy has a side that ain’t so good but then again who doesn’t?

Well as far as All-Stars went, Rob and Lex and Rob and Kathy were really close in real life, like best friends, almost family if you read interviews. So naturally they felt extremely betrayed by Rob when he stabbed them in the back. And they even said they get that we lost fair and square, but only wanted to be kept around 1 extra vote and they wouldn't have felt betrayed, and that's what cost Rob the game.
I feel like Ozzy gets the most hate because of this speech but this speech isn’t even really about what Parvati did even tho it was hurtful… he’s genuinely raw bc it’s his trauma talking. He failed to reign it in so he absolutely apologized later but I get it. I know triggered when I hear it.

@starlinej There was definitely a strategic reason for doing what he did...according to post game interviews I've read from both Billy and JP, what we didn't get to see in Cook Islands was that Billy was playing the game too hard from the beginning and tried to pit Ozzy and JP against each other from day 1...once both of them found out, they saw Billy as a threat and wanted him out ♥♥

Ozzy is the greatest Survivor ever, even if he has been blindsided many times in the name of the game and has never won I still mean that he is worthy of winning one time. He certainly can live on Redemption Island and get redemed and he can win the games in challenges. He is the best ever to compete.
@lachlan3291 The difference was that Ozzy played a somewhat cleaner game than Parvati did...I don't remember him pulling any underhanded moves on either of his seasons, while Parvati has proven that she'll stab whoever she can in the back as long as she gets what she wants ♥♥

I would never trade my real friends like that for a million dollars, but when I'm competing in a reality tv show where everyone wants the same thing and will eventually betray me (since there can only be one winner)- then yeah, I would.

But I do think Parvati's game in Heroes vs Villains was one of the top 3 full-season gameplays of all time.

I think winning Survivor on your first time makes you better than anyone who wins Survivor on their second time (except for Sandra).

Got I forgot Ozzy was such a sore loser and took this so personally. It's a game. Yes of course your friendship isn't worth the million bucks, and you would have made the same move if you were smart enough to make it.

It's stupid that Ozzy saying to Parvati:"You basically said you dont worth that much money". It is not about money my friend... This is surviving game. You should 've know better that anybody can deceive you..You should've play the idol...
coming back here knowing that amanda and parv made a plan to vote ozzy out is crazy no wonder they did not last at all

@starlinej There was definitely a strategic reason for doing what he did...according to post game interviews I've read from both Billy and JP, what we didn't get to see in Cook Islands was that Billy was playing the game too hard from the beginning and tried to pit Ozzy and JP against each other from day 1...once both of them found out, they saw Billy as a threat and wanted him out ♥♥
I liked Ozzy the first season he played but it seemed like every time he returned he was a bigger jerk!
Lmao what’s funny is that Amanda was actually the person who came up with the idea to vote him out the week he went
@m91b1 i heard that he was asked back but declined because he was still hurting over the end of his relationship with amanda so he didn't want to be in the same season as her. idk whether that's true, just what i heard.

Ozzy is the greatest Survivor ever, even if he has been blindsided many times in the name of the game and has never won I still mean that he is worthy of winning one time. He certainly can live on Redemption Island and get redemed and he can win the games in challenges. He is the best ever to compete.

@lachlan3291 The difference was that Ozzy played a somewhat cleaner game than Parvati did...I don't remember him pulling any underhanded moves on either of his seasons, while Parvati has proven that she'll stab whoever she can in the back as long as she gets what she wants ♥♥
@paper017 You make a valid point; however, I honestly still believe that "it's just a game" still applies. I would never trade my real friends like that for a million dollars, but when I'm competing in a reality tv show where everyone wants the same thing and will eventually betray me (since there can only be one winner)- then yeah, I would.

I agree with what you're saying....but that doesn't mean that Ozzy is entitled to a win, and that Parvati shouldn't have voted him out. I'm not saying you thought that or anything, I was just saying I agree....and then adding a "but" lol.
(Post #2) The reason I said "If we were to use your logic of 'its just a game', our real lives is just a game" is to show that morevideostoday wants Ozzy to stop showing emotions, which is a part of our daily lives, REGARDLESS of whether or not a million dollars is involved.
Last I checked, the winner of Survivor gets to keep the 1 million dollars and use it in real life.

I really like Ozzy, but after stuff like this I can understand others disliking him.
I liked Ozzy as a survivor player, I thought he was so genuine and hut by fucked up parvarti but honestly, he does not like amanda. Sorry but he was only saying that to make parvarti jealous and it sounded so unreal.

Any respect I had towards Ozzy just got thrown out the window. Yes you got blindsided, thats part of the game. Get over it, i understand that it is 1 million dollars for the winner but still theres no need to blast someone just because that person took you away from someone you loved. Surely after playing the game once he would realise that...

So what you are debating is how the contestants' actions in the game are not equal to their morality in real life.
I'M debating that movevideostoday can't apply the argument of it's just a game against Ozzy's whining BECAUSE it's game where EMOTIONS happen. Ozzy's anger and rage ARE emotions. THEREFORE, our lives would just be a game if Ozzy shouldn't be whining due to morevideostoday's logic.

@Mr1131988 I agree. Natalie White should not have won. The jury voted against Russell, not for Natalie. The game does have its flaws.
The game is exactly how it should be. Strategy isn't everything. It's getting the jury to want to give you the money. Russell failed at every single aspect of that. Natalie did not.
