- Parvati and Cirie put the black widow brigade in action (with Jason replacing Amanda this time) to blindside Ozzy and flush out his immunity idol.

Putting Cirie and Parvati in the same season was one of the best moves the producers have ever done.
If Cirie made it further in HvV, I have no doubt she would have worked with Parvati.
Didn’t realize it until during the season though. Parvati was a nobody in the survivor world until Micronesia.

Why this is an awesome blindside:
-Ozzy went home with an idol
-Cirie's sad look when she thought it didn't work
-Amanda, Erik, and to a lesser extent James' reaction to all of it
-Eliza's reactions from the jury
-It solitified Parvati and Cirie as great players
And that idol comes back on Ghost Island.

Parvati and Cirie were the masterminds here. Cirie was the architect for the move and put it in motion. Parvati though had all the power when it came down to it. She had her alliance with Natalie and Alexis and they would vote with however she wanted. Even if they chose to vote with Cirie and Jason, Parvati was still the swing vote. She had her numbers stocked and ready to go, as soon as Ozzy was out. Masterful.
Parvati is literally the one who created the Black Widow Brigade with the express purpose of getting rid of all the male threats. Cirie helped convince Parvati to fully go through with it, but Parvati was the one who actually created the alliance and had the initial idea.
Parvati recently said on a podcast that her and Amanda planned this blindside earlier in the game. Amanda came up with the idea to play a good cop/bad cop routine surrounding the move, with her (good cop) staying friendly to the remaining men. The Amanda disrespect really needs to stop lol
Oh man,after that Ozzy blindside I was mad as hell. I was overdramatic and said that I was over with Survivor for good 🤣Then when I calmed down after a couple of weeks,I realize what a phenomenal player Parvati is and I have loved her ever since. One of the best players in survivor herstory!!

The reactions and the order of the votes read is what made this one of the most iconic moments in Survivor. I love the comfortable smug faces from Amanda, Ozzie and even Eric as he looks at Jason when his vote was read. The disappointed face Cirie makes when she thought it didn’t work. Amanda and James wtf face when the 2nd and 3rd Ozzy vote was read. Parvatis assertive face at 1:26 like she knew what was going to go down next. Ozzie and Amanda thought they were going to be the next Rob and Amber and this is what should have happened in All Stars. Break up the couple for God sakes.

Really? Like how the hell is that not a massive red flag.
Before Russell weaponized them in Samoa, idols in general were just a less common tactic. People not just Ozzy sometimes left them behind at camp when they felt secure, cause people underestimated what game changers they could be.
Russell is the one who really helped people realize if you have an idol keep it with you at all times, it can change the game.
Parvati recently told in an interview that amanda knew of the blindside, they played bad cop, good cop, amanda been the good cop and parvati the bad.

The dramatic tension when Jeff asks if anyone has the hidden idol and wants to play it, Jason closing his eyes inhaling and praying to god, Parvati looking worried, Amanda doing her best acting job pretending she isn't aware of the plan, Ozzy remaining comfortable and oblivious, Cirie raising the eyebrow when she realizes he's not going to play it, Jason's smile, Cirie's smile of glee that the blindside is on! Just obsessed with this sequence!

Ozzy grabbing his head was actually the reaction to the 4th vote because at that point he knew either Parvati or Cirie flipped and odds were the other did as well. Because if you watch his Pondersoa video from this he stands up the instant Jeff turned the last vote over.

Personally, I was glad to see him go. He's cocky when he wins and very sour when he loses. While he may be good at the challenges, and good in nature overall, his personality needs a rework. That look of scorn to them like they just knocked a god off his throne...? I'd definitely take Parvati winning over Ozzy.
I love Eliza's reactions with each jury appearance this Season though. Solidifies why she's one of my favorites.

Fun fact Amanda was actually in on this blindside but didn’t vote with them to still be in with the others, and she was the major reason ozzy felt so comfortable up until he was blindsided. But then never owned up to being a part of it at Final Tribal.

I think it became a lot darker and more heavy on manipulation around Season 6 -- Survivor Amazon. The first 5 seasons were relatively tame.

crazy thing that i don’t know whether to believe or not but ozzy once said in an interview that a couple years after this season amanda and him hung out as friends (since they broke up) and that she was guilty and admitted that she suggested to blindside him . it was apparently her idea and she never admitted to it because she thought people would think she’s a “bad person” . years later I still don’t know what to believe because she seemed genuinely shocked and mad but if she did , i gotta say that was some godamn good acting . even not orchestrating the ozzy blindside amanda could of won , she just didn’t take account of her strategic moves . she thought blindsides and being devious wouldn’t help her but it was actually what made parvati win . she was strategic and played a good game but amanda had a chance if she just owned up to her gameplay also .
Interesting thing about this vote out: Ozzy claims in an interview that this whole blindside was Amanda's idea, not Cirie or Parvati's.

And she didn't take credit for it. She pretended like it was this blindside situation that Parvati and Cirie crafted, but they hadn't. It was her. And if she just had owned it in front of me, in front of the tribe, and been like, "Yo, I'm sorry but I played you," I know for a fact she would have won. But she wasn't honest about it. And it would have hurt me, yes, but our relationship never went anywhere. I know she regrets it. That bites people in the ass a lot with this show. If you're up there and you have your chance to make your case to the jury, be as honest as you possibly can, even if you think it's going to hurt people's feelings."

Ozzy is great at challenges, but I always found him too cocky. He wins, and he gets a big head; he loses, and he gets angry. His personality needs work.

She just might be the best social player there's ever been. She's been taken out in every which way imaginable apart from a straight up vote. Fire challenge, switching to final 2, an idol, then by default by twist massacre. I don't see how Game Changers was karma since, apart from winning, it was the next best thing that maintains her legacy as being awesome at the game. Haters gonna keep hating.
She LED alliances - her and Parv ran the Black Widow Brigade, taking out key players like Ozzy, Jason, and Erik.
What's wrong with being the tail of some alliances? Being the tail means you are always the swing vote, abd you are a go-to person when people need votes. Sandra has always been the tail and she won twice.
This is why Survivor sucks, weak players like Cirie laughed because she helped vote out Ozzy. But in reality, she is so useless on Survivor, and most Survivors winners are the weakest player. Need to find a better way to vote players off like The Challenge
I love it how people think Parv and Cirie were that great of players. It was more of people being dumb enough to trust them. Never would have given them a second of trust. Glad that Cirie never won and wish Parv never did. Both are overrated
You do realize that Parvati trust her girl alliance as well? Trust is part of the game. Yes, you should be careful but you need to trust ur alliance as well. A player will self-destruct if she/he can't trust anyone.
