To keep out as much air as possible to get more of a vacuum type seal I insert a straw most of the way in the bag then close it and suck the air out pulling the straw out
When it comes to preventing them from browning, I saw one person use Fruit Fresh, I saw another person use club soda, you use lemon juice. It good to know there's always more than one way to do something :) :). But I think you guys sold me, especially in the part with freezing individually first before transferring them in a plastic bag. That's smart, and something I wouldn't have thought of had I not seen this video :)
Yay! Our peaches are just about ready, and I knew right where to come for how to prep them. And would putting something Pam on the tray before freezing be a no-no?
Generally speaking they will last for a year. Just be sure to keep the package closed and keep them frozen. After that point they may begin to freezer burn.
Thank you for sharing!
Our pleasure! This is one of my favorite things to freeze.

I love using that method. It is so much easier later.
Hey I’m an Emmeline, so from one to another, I had to say hi! I about fell over when I saw your apron!
So cool! Not many people spell it that way. It's good to hear from another one.
@@WisdomPreserved rare indeed, no matter the spelling. I do believe it’s more common now in the under 10 group.

I would avoid the Pam but some parchment paper might help.
Could you put them on parchment or wax paper on the cookie sheet?
Nice job and thank you for sharing!
Yes of course!
how long will they keep in the freezer?

How much lemon juice and sugar do you use there’s no measurements
1 tablespoon of lemon juice and 2 teaspoons of sugar. It is at the 2:43 minute mark.
@@WisdomPreservedfor how many peaches?
@@Trblsum96 This is for 4 large peaches.
I use parchment paper so they don’t stick to the baking sheet while freezing.
