Well hats off to your dad he had absolutely smashed that Mk1 it looks great!
Oh, that's just superb! What a cracking result! 😄👍🏻
Cracking job looking beautiful
Lovely work by your Dad colour like my Dad's Morris Mini Cooper Mk 1 XDL 861
Hello that looks great 👍
Sad....just sold my 1964 mk 1 a month back
Lock down & lost my job...was unable to finish it
Hi. Well done to your dad for all his hard work. On that stunning mini and his mod's
Yàyy! Number 100 👍. A beautiful mini ♥️
Gotta say, what a legend Mr Green snr is!! Beautiful work !!
That’s been off the road since 1999!
That’s lovely. Great work.
Brings back memories of my first car that I bought and sold to your mum. Definitely wasn't as good condition as this one but still loved it.
Awesome plain and simple awesome. 👍🏽😎
Your dad has done a great job on the mk2 mini. 👍
Love the mk1. I had a Jan 68 mk1 that I restored 30 years ago. I painted it the same colour, it had a high compression A+ 998cc with Cooper S head and twin carbs. Went like stink. Mine was a Automatic when I bought it, in Almond Green so I did Almond green and Old English white roof in a cooler styly
Cool. Glad you like
Looks lovely ,good work dad !!
Nice job Matt’s dad
What a beautiful car Matt. Your dad is mega!!
Amazing
Just "wow"
Lovely mini 👍🏻
Beautiful 👍
Well done Dad! That '67 is looking top drawer. Lovely touch with the badge so nuts to the purists.
I know you do Matt but make the most of doing stuff with your Dad especially as you share a love of restoring cars. I lost my Dad when I was 22 some 52 years ago now and it still hurts. Last car I did up for him was a Mk I Minivan in Khaki Green. He had lost his job and that was all he could afford. Luckily he found another job at Morris Garages in Oxford (yes THAT MG garage) and was there for a couple of years before he died. Mum kept his red Austin 1100 and she gave me her cream Morris Mini. That would be in about 1969.
So Minis have a very special place in my life just as they seem to have in yours.
Beautiful mini
You dad has done a good job on the 67.Is your putting the 16v engine in the pickup?
Yea
that mini looks nice
Looking Great! Update on the mini marcos next?
Good memory. Nothing changed I don’t think.
Should have called in for a.cuppa
Next time. Always in rush me
Matt does your dad still have the Marcos? if so please show us that.
he does , under cover , will try and get a walk around next time , not much has changed
@@MattGreenWorks I do like a Marcos but prefer the Midas Mk1&2's. I have a Mk2 with 6000 miles from new, need to finish a 205gti then its onto the Midas. Keep up the content and give your dad a nudge to get onto the Marcos next.
