Well done you two love your vids,Iv watched every single one off them.
Warm pork pie tho wot planet are you on lol Iv never ever heard of warming a pork pie up in my life lol keep up the good work. Love it
Im amazed how many of you wrong people there are out there who dont eat warm pork pies. Just try it lol
enjoyable video, nice to see some honest down to earth reviews, this is exactly what producers of these products need so they can enhance and improve, keep up the good work👍
Glad you like them!
Thoroughly enjoy this and the previous vid. It reminded me of caravan meals we had whilst touring the Yorkies and Peak District. Takes me home to Buxton. Now I'm a homesick kiwi. Thanks guys loved ever minute
Our pleasure!
I am so jealous! Being stuck in the middle east due to travel restrictions I haven't had sausages for ages, but seeing you guys eating traditional Yorkshire produce it makes up for it. Great review and great vid. Keep up the great work.
That’s was cruel! Such a brilliant video. Just eating Wensleydale, mince pie flavour. Thank you for another great lockdown diversion.
Glad you enjoyed it
Oh my goodness what great food . The cake looked amazing plenty of fruit.
Thanks for the fun.👍👍☺️☺️🤩🤩
Thanks for watching!
Like these types of vids. Keep up the good work.
Thanks, will do! Similar video coming up tonight :-)
"the interior is lovely" you mean the filling, Mazzy. The filling.
lol
Hi dan and mazzy all delicious stuff the sausages looked nice lm getting hungry
I haven't had my tea yet
your food looked delicious 😋, I've watched you taste all the different food, it was good fun.
have a lovely evening.
Thank you! You too!
Oh my mouth is watering at the fruit cake and cheeses ! Thanks for reviewing all of them ...wish I was there lol !
Any time!
This looked yummy 😋 would of liked a sausage or 2. Is it still snowing 🌨 there. Here in Northern Ireland 🇮🇪 we got a thick dense fog 🌫 cant see anything. Keeps safe and warm xx
No more snow luckily. We are in one of the highest towns in England so its not safe up here in the snow.
@@TravelTrollsTV ohh that's good glad you're safe and no snow 😊 😊
love the reviews and different viewpoints... honesty informs....
Glad you like them!
Local cheeses are bound to be a bit crumbly. But fresher. The cranberry cheese I would have ate first because it was mild or tasteless after the strong cheddar. The baniks....not sure. In the story Outlander they are a filler of sorts for meals, something to fill your tummy when out on hunting trips, traveling, so I’m on the fence with those. Fruit cake.....never had a good one, here in the states they are used to pass on to families when you can’t think of anything to give. Also used as door stops. We never opened them when we got them. The rest of your “hoard” we would have just devoured sitting in front of the TV and loved every bite! Crackers and cheese.....yummmmm! Now if you would have gotten a port cheese....OMG I would have been in heaven! Great video! Could almost taste everything, now I’m hungry! Thanks! Hahahahaha ❤️❤️❤️
Love this evenings blog 💜
That fruit cake looks so nice and would have been nice eaten with a chunk of the cheddar. Im going to see if they do online, it looked so nice 😍
I think they might sell it on their website.
It’s made me want to have a trip when things are settled. Love the place and the food tasting too. Stay safe both 🚐🚐💕🎄🎄
You should!
Nice video seeing different foods than what is here. The sausages look like what we all brats here in Wisconsin. They come in a variety of flavors, they even have them with cheddar or cranberries inside. We get them made from our venison hunt
Sounds great! Brats sound more like German sausages.
@@TravelTrollsTV yes. Wisconsin was settled with lots of German immigrants
Brilliant vid I was laughing all the way through 😂😂😂😂
It was a serious documentary lol
Fabulous vlog ❤
The banock cake, my friend makes us one every year like that Maureen calls it mincemeat slice ,just treat it like a mince pie custard cream or Ice cream on it xx
Looks like An Eccles cake, need a glass of port,to go with your dry biscuit or a bunch of grapes, looks lovely
That Bannock cake reminds me of the fly pie we used to buy, from a baker in Porthmadog years ago.
Must stop watching your food reviews late at night...had to pause while we raid the fridge for some cheese and crackers 😋
I agree the sausages look the best, but I like a pork pie too, those looked nice sized ones too. I recon Dan seems to like spicy tastes and Mazzy seems to go for the sweeter stuff generally. Always good to try different thing though. Great video as ever folks. 😊 👍
The Wensleydale with cranberries is always mild, should have had that first really. You're bound to lose the taste having it right after the strong cheddar. 🙂
I did notice the difference once I tried more the next day.
Great content just need to go and make myself something to eat now after watching this, that port pie looked really good.
Hope you enjoy
I'm with you on the sausages love it when they break up in the pan nice & crispy brilliant vlog love the taste testing & your views. Enjoy eating it all now Dan & Mazzy.🥰👍🏼 maybe you could taste test some different ales in one of your vlogs one day.xx
Im not great at reviewing ales because they never touch the sides.
Brilliant answer.😂😂👍🏼
I didn't know that you could eat pork pies hot !
hot is the only way.
Quality food making me feel hungry
It's the apple in the sausages makes them still to the pan Mazzy. (Assuming it was the pork and apple ones you bought)
that food looks amazing stuff from the local butchers/ local butchers stuff is the best. i love the sausages they looked so nice i like my sausages like that. what a great video you guys do make me hungry xxxxx
Yummy 🤤 cheese that all looked so good ..
I like those kind of videos nearly as much as when back in the days deep fried dan cooks a sausage mega mix pie in his good old „DanAVan“ 😄
Glad you like them!
That looks so good .
I agree those Sausages looked spot on for me. That Bannoch cake looked a bit like lardy cake to me, so I guess you spread butter on it?! Either that or it needs warming up as it looked a bit pale. Fruit cake looked excellent, and if soaked with whisky if they make one that would be awesome. Cannot stand cheese, so with Mazzy on all those!
I think it's put sausages right up there as one of my favourite foods.
Best way to cook sausage I think
Great idea commenting on the foods from your area of the world. Looked up Yorkshire Fruitcake but to get to the US it would be $40.00. Might try and make my own..
They take a million ingredients.
Looking forward to seeing this x
Enjoyed thats lol do u fancy start putting in the prices also x and give them value for money x
all local produce is generally a little expensive so I doubt any would pass a value for money test.
“Sour milk” Isn’t that the definition of cheese
That all looked so good, but especially the sausages!
Wild's Bakery is still at Cross Roads and there is a J. Wild in Mill Hey Haworth. Exceptional bakers in Yorkshire as are Southam's :)
I remember Wilds next to the post office in Keighley, not sure if its the same company.
Pork pie with dill mustard is the best stay safe
I think that's more of a southern thing but yes, still nice.
Cheese looks amazing use enjoying being back o the road shows the campsite it looked nice
Sheffields Henderson's yorkshire relish on ya meat pie n I put it on my campfire bannock too. Great vid folk 👍 also great on my venison. 🇨🇦 72 yr old expat
Sounds great!
, mazzys a fruitcake & Dan cut the cheese lol, brilliant food review guys, I thought mazzy was going to chunder with that first cheese.
wow Dan, was tracking your scores with mine and I was not even tasting them lol
Lovely video, glad I already had my dinner lol
Best way to eat sausages. Butcher in Hebden Bridge used to do mean meat and potato pies and steak and kidney used to eat them before we back down to kent. Keep blogs going, great entertainment.
Hebden Bridge is great.
if you like strong cheddar, try the Lancaster Bomber from the great british cheese company, the wife has bought a fridge full, great with any pickle and oat biscuits/cakes
Lancaster Bomber is gorgeous 😍
sounds lovely, I'll look out for it.
enjoyed !! stay safe
The only thing I would eat off there is fruitcake and cheese and crackers 😄 x
Reminds me of Desperate Dan and his cowpie from dandy days lol
Food looks scrummy but I've never had a hot pork pie ? Great video im with maddie.on cheeses I don't eat any lol oh except soft brie love that and cheese crisps x
From a Yorkshire man who lives in the Philippines I'm coming back home cos I miss me snap....
i need them pork pies in my life WITH THE JELLY and the pickle
Pie jelly is where Coronavirus comes from.
You are such a lovely couple! I really love watching your videos :) mazzy you’ve lost loads of weight! How have you done it?
Who knows
@@TravelTrollsTV mazzy does 😂😂
My Yorkshire NaN left York batter sit for 2-3 Hours,, & used roast beef dripping, we had.it with home made gravy,,,,,, they were Huge!!!!!!!!! Come on Mazzy & Dan xx COOK OFF FOR CHARITY XXXXXXX
Question Dan; why don’t you put the driver seat a bit higher so that you have more space sitting next to each other?
because I like being close to Mazzy :-)
I have always liked the look of pork pies but the jelly put me off as my mate said they are made with cat food. Going to pop one in the oven and see what happens
jelly always disappears once warmed up :-)
I've never heard of a warm pork pie, thought it was our tradition to eat cold at Christmas with Branston :)
Hi Mazzie & Dan, as a viewer from Cumbria I can honestly say that Yorkshire food is my favourite........not so sure Mazzie enjoyed this vid though...lol
eat the fruit cake with the cheese yumm
Gotta have butter on fruit cake👍
I dont like butter though.
You can freeze cheese.
If it tasted of chicken mazzy would have enjoyed it
I agree with dan it's all beautiful we often go to hawes for the yorkshire produce and we are proud cumbrians
Cumbria is next on our list.
Where in cumbria
We live in Workington up the coast in between Whitehaven and Maryport
Keep clear of Whitehaven as it is in chaos with road works at the moment havin a major revamp over the next 2 yrs
To me it looked like the sausages were a bit over cooked but still like good
a nice pint of strong ale would have gone down well with that
Making me hungry 😋
I'm hungry now LOL
I'll just have the pork pie and fruit cake pls :)
sorry...all gone :-)
This is making me need cheese.
Triple bypass after eating sausages
😊👍
Maybe some hot sauce will help out on some of those
Most butchers sell good stuff - imo!
You got that right!
No bread&dripping👀🤔
yuck!
Try cooking the sausages in the oven, much better taste. ;¬)
Thanks for the tip! Trying that today for sausage sandwiches :-)
Hello! Wenslydale♥️can’t get it here unless you’re made of money. Enjoy🧓🏼🎄
Its not much more expensive than any other cheese here.
@@TravelTrollsTV it was always my go to cheese. Absolutely love it no matter how it’s fixed.
