- It's the big Birthday weekend holiday away and we are raring to go. After Mazzys makeover and Dans lazy day off we are finally on our way. Not all goes to plan as traffic wasn't in our favour. Road closures and school time traffic hold us up but we finally reach our destination..but where are we?!

Only legally registered dogs can be allowed in shops. It’s up to the shop owner if they allow other dogs. Too many people running about with emotional support dogs and overuse the term so ruins it for highly trained dogs.

@ different opinions on this. I personally have heard loads of young girls demand their dogs come into the shop for emotional help. They don’t need the dog when I see them running around town without emotional problems at night.
A service animal is a trained, certified, working animal there to perform a task. Such as helping a visually impaired person navigate, or alert an epileptic person to sit down safely when the animal senses a possible seizure coming on. You can buy an emotional support certificate online. A business open to the public, can ask two questions. Is this a service animal, and what tasks does it perform for you? If the task does not apply to assist the customer, the business has every right to deny the animal inside their business. No business can afford to allow any pet or untrained or non controlled animal in a shop. If a child or another animal is bitten or killed you may feel differently. A business is liable and would probably lose their business from such a lawsuit.
Having worked in an assisted living building for several years there are several different types of service dogs trained for different purposes, people in the retail and hospitality industry need to be trained better about this as it can cause issues for people who are already dealing with a lot, but one thing is that these dogs ‘normally’ have signs/coats/other certifications that give you the information which the owner can show to stop any embarrassment for either party.
We followed a lorry on a diversion at night thinking he would know the way. He did, his depot and we were in the middle of nowhere with no signal!

I have MS and have an assistance dog . She is a westie, not the regular assistance dog . I do, therefore, get some strange looks. As long as the dog is registered and certified, there is nothing anybody can do.

Well done Dan for being great to Mazzy while she wasn't well. See you can be nice when you put your mind to it, even being nice to us though at the end your so sweet, when you want to be. Oh and Mazzy have you tried Sistaco nails, mine last just over a week. What about dogs for the blind then ?.. that is terrible. I think things need making clear exactly where people stand , if people need a dog to help them I can’t see what dog makes any difference it would be official . If you asked at reception to change your room with a bath they probably would’ve done that for you. A lot of family rooms we’ve found have a bath. I much prefer premier inn as they unlimited WiFi and their beds are so comfortable so enjoy your stay. ❤

Thanks for sharing your day with us! So I tried Dan's way of pancakes and your way of topping! I'm American and syrup or fruit topping is kinda the way here but lemon juice and sugar was different and amazing. The way you cooked the batter was crepe style for us. Delicious and thank you for new ways🎉😊

Bless you Mazzy I know what it feels like to feel unwell. I don’t know if it’s of any help to you but I spent quite a long time not feeling great so went to see a specialist and was told I had fibromyalgia, I still have horrible times but it’s a relief to know what’s wrong. Hope this helps you ❤
