What attracted me to rv life was the illusion of freedom. After RVing for 3 yrs, we sorta found out freedom and adventure was in our own town and state. We didn’t need to leave home to have an adventurous life.
Hi Team, been missing your videos so glad to see you back. You make very valid points on your experiences but you may be too tough on yourselves. You took a risk, with little experience, and were learning on the fly. Then you faced a very personal tragedy that had to have an impact on your plans. Maybe you simply needs sticks and bricks to go back to as your safe place, but that is your choice. You are smart and resilient so you will figure it out. We are all out here supporting you on your adventure so just relax, share your adventures, and have a great time.
Thanks so much, Ty - your kind words mean a lot and we couldn’t agree more. We definitely have wanted to travel more, but we’re happy to have had the opportunity to travel even just a little and begin to live this lifestyle.
So great to see you back, you have been missed! We are not full-time, but take a lot of trips in our Airstream, so even though I miss conveniences when traveling, like my washer/dryer at home, I love the adventure and know I will return to things that I miss. Some day, you may find you can enjoy a balance of "both worlds", but I hope that for now you will squeeze every bit of joy out of this fun and adventurous time in your lives! You are young and have so much to see and explore, so always remember that a positive attitude and a thankful heart will bring joy in the journey! Love you two, and your fur babies! :)
Thank you so much for coming back to tune in Renee! That is definitely a topic around here. We will probably eventually “settle down” with something more permanent but now cannot imagine not hanging onto an RV and spending a good deal of time out in it either way. Do you guys have a particular rhythm for the year or just as the opportunity arises hit the road and take trips? We’ll definitely try to put in at least a few good years in the rv before making a change!
@@OutdoorsInn Yes, we do have a rhythm! We have favorite places that we go to at the same time every year and try to visit at least a couple of new places each year for variety. We love Florida in the winter (we are there now), the NC mountains in the summer, spring in Myrtle Beach, Fall in PA or the NE and Florida again late fall. We love being home in-between/holidays to be with family/friends & enjoy attending college sports games when we are home (& sometimes plan around them)! :)
Great to see you again. I really like you two. The "not seeing up everything" resonated. We laughed about our 1st big trip. All 3 couples were fairly new to RVing and we set up everything every single time we stopped for the night! Now we often stay somewhere several nights and never pull out the chairs. We're trying to break that habit.
Haha isn’t that wild!! We expect the outdoors to just hit us in the face but we still have to be intentional. Thank you for watching and thank you for sharing!
Thank you Donna! It definitely is a lifestyle we’re super thankful for and are enjoying it. The thing that stands out most is taking any opportunity to be outside and enjoy different perspectives. Truth is we don’t need an rv for that right? Has to take intention either way so that’s an interesting thing to learn after this last year in the camper!
We have been on this same journey for about the same time frame and we were agreeing with you the entire video. This is our second winter in Florida and we usually stay in one place and it definitely takes away from the adventure of traveling. If we head up to Tampa for the show we will definitely look for you! We love your videos!
Isn’t it funny how these things surface over time?? Pros and cons to everything. Please let us know if y’all come out it would be great to meet you! And thank you for coming back and tuning in!
Thank you for all the great insights! I'll be at the Tampa RV Show Thursday and Friday. I'm looking to buy a new rig soon possibly an Airstream as well so I'm really looking forward to it! I hope to meet you two at the show!
Awesome!! That is exciting likely no better place to do your research! We are going to be interviewing people we come across so definitely say hi if we cross paths!!
Great to see you guys back! Looking forward to more good content and editing. I’d suggest that you take time to golf…..sometimes it’s hard to make time. Safe travels.
You need a fifth wheel or a trailer with a slide if you wish you had a little more room . You could also get a washer and dryer and maybe a tub in a fifth wheel.
So true!! These things definitely cross the mind. For now the simplicity of what we’re in is winning but if it’s gets to be stronger in the other direction and space becomes a real nuisance we could definitely entertain a swap.
@@OutdoorsInn It's nice to see you guys back ! We have a trailer with 2 slides and I love it . We are seasonal campers now going into our 5th year here in Michigan and I wouldn't change it . Good luck on you adventures 😊
I was just thinking to myself, “What’s Outdoors Inn up to?” Good to see you back. So how long do you suppose this adventure will last? Can you see yourself doing this life for the next 5 years or longer?
Haha we appreciate you Heath!! Ya know, we could see at least another two years pretty confidently. Haven’t had the chance to really put the wheels to the road as much as we’d hoped so far so want to give it a real go before evaluating a change but are really happy with keeping it going for now! Thank you so much for coming back around and keeping us in mind!
It feels like it’s been no time at all! Honestly just caught up in being home with friends and family for the holidays and Jame started a new job so all of that threw us off for a bit. Fun updates coming this Thursday! Thank you for coming back to tune in!

I have 2 chihuahuas, female : Hannah 6 and Gazelle is 3.
Weather you are full time, or like us traveling with our Airstream 9 months out of the year we get away from day-to-day ground hog day.
That seems like a great rhythm! Home for holidays and out the rest of the year?
GUYS I JUST SAID WHERE IS OUTDOORS INN good to see you guys miss the videos. ❤
Haha! That is hilarious. We were just waiting on the perfect timing! Thank you for hanging in there with us and coming back to tune in!!
