- Starring Megan Hilty and Josh Radnor! Seymour Krelborn is a floral shop assistant who discovers a strange plant, which he affectionately names “Audrey II” after his crush. Little does he know that his plant will develop a soulful R&B voice and an unquenchable thirst for human flesh.

With direction by Mark Brokaw (Rodgers + Hammerstein’s Cinderella), this semi-staged concert performance of the tuneful and hilarious musical about a megalomaniacal R&B singing carnivorous plant will star Tony Award® nominee Megan Hilty (Smash, Noises Off) as Audrey, Josh Radnor (How I Met Your Mother, Disgraced, The Babylon Line) as Seymour Krelborn, and Tony Award® winner Michael James Leslie (Little Shop of Horrors, The Wiz) as Audrey II. Tony Award® nominee Lee Wilkof (Waitress, Kiss Me Kate), who played Seymour in the original 1982 production, returns to the shop as Mr. Mushnik. Tony Award® nominee Nick Cordero (A Bronx Tale, Bullets over Broadway) will play Orin Scrivello, D.D.S. Amber Iman (Shuffle Along, the national tour of Hamilton), Amma Osei (Rock of Ages), and Allison Semmes (Motown) will play the three street urchins Crystal, Ronnette, and Chiffon.

I was fortunate to see Nick play Orin in the KC Rep production of Little Shop some years ago. I went to see it twice because the production was so good. RIP, Nick.
Mr. Mushnik is Lee Wilkof the man that originated the Seymour role in the off off Broadway show.
Nothing short of amazing! In Los Angeles, while producing my Spoken Word Showcase at the iconic Atlas Supper Club on a weekly basis, a Broadway fixture was the enigmatic Ron Taylor, Broadway Producer and Baritone extraordinaire, who originated the role of the supernatural plant in “Little Shop of Horrors.” An amazing man and quite an amazing show. Thank you 🙏🏿 for stirring up that Ancestor in my memory!

A travesty. My brother made all the different sized Audrey 2 puppets and starred as Audrey 2 in his HS musical. If he can do ut, Broadway should be able to as well.

Yeah, he is super good, don’t get me wrong, but seeing how they pull off the plant is always one of the best parts of the show for me!
This is technically a “semi-staged concert production” as opposed to a fully-produced show; that’s the conceit of the Kennedy Center’s Broadway Center Stage series. So, no plant because that would move it firmly out of ‘concert’ territory.
