Suggestion: don't demolish the water tower/tank, fill it with water using a wind powered pump, when it's full up let it out via a hydro generator then you have free electricity.

Any extra step with water and pumps only creates more loss of energy. I mean, the thought is nice, but in reality it is not practical. Even a large water wheel with a big continuous stream of water can barely produce 1500 watt. And it requires a large investment. However, on a good day a micro windturbine can produce 500 watt given the fact that it is located at the right spot, and that you have a permit to install it. And then you can see for yourself what is required to be able to produce that amount of energy.
Roof has wasp nests too. Saw a recent homestead vid dealing with wasps in roof. Is there a way to seal the roof tiles such that wasps and other nesting creatures can not make their homes? Esp the biting, stinging kinds.

You can also keep birds on top of it. Or in it. Like pigeons for example. They would love that place.
@@petervermeer.4904 id keep the birds in the master bedroom.
hahaha you would have to spend a 1000 watts of power to get the water in, and with a bit of luck you can produce 2 watts of power.
@@insAneTunA Doh a pump powered by wind not electricity.
