This guy just wants to help people bro. He's all sentimental because he feels like he's being taken seriously by the medical community instead of just being written off as a yogi or something. Not to downgrade yogis, but seriously, I'm also excited by the idea that his body, possibly because of cold training has an increased immune-response to stress. Specifically in this case, bacteria. This has significant scientific implications.

I agree....I was diagnosed with pneumonia back in March 2019. My adrenaline was high to where my body was protecting itself. I didn't get a fever at all, no vomiting, no aches, no pains....NO NOTHING. The only thing was that I had insomnia. My adrenaline was so high that I stayed awake for months with no sleep. Recently I felt as if I was going to pass out not once but more than 3times. But I retrained my thoughts and came to and stopped it every time.... The human mind and body is powerful and amazing.

@TonyFirelli Hi Tony, it is not about keeping yourself warm... It is about exposing yourself outside of the comfort zone... that way the body learns how to act in these situations.... A nice side effect is that the body get's stronger, and the immune system alerter.

Now he only have to try the endotoxin test without meditating to see if it's his body which is strong or the meditation that supresses the endotoxin. Nonetheless the results are there.

When I was in an hospital with this pressure, doctors told me that two thing can happens: 1) I have hipertension, 2) I am sacare because I am in an hospital. But it does not means you can control your autonomici system at all :). Have a high pressure is not good. (In my case after checked my pressupre at home, it was the second one, I always have high pressure at hospitals, and I am not Wim Hof :) ). I really would like to know what is his pressure when he is relaxed... I don't know why anyone never asked him about.

@shadenet1989 Hi Shadenet... Wim never had a teacher if you think so... So, yes, he learned his techniques in nature.... Everybody can learn as long they expose themselfs to the cold. He went really extreme but came back with relativly simple techniques... You do not need to be a yogi to be able to have these good benefits to the cold. Wim wants to show that everybody is able to have control of it's own body... we just need to decondition the mind, and condition the body

you are still impressed by the superficial context nurtured by most common human societies.
This ignorant reaction is not your fault but do try to understand in the context of nature you still scale as an infant.
      Grow human, Grow!! :D
Do you only know respect by muscle power? this is not a deep level of respect which isnt bad or good or better nor worse.
But there is more forms of respect out there.
Anyway if you begin to understand what he has acomplished when you start undergoing it yourself and discover then you will likely see the acomplishment and get respect for it or become impressed by it.
Right now you dont seem to understand much outside muscle power.
I bet you get impressed or intimidated by golden chains and race cars or lots of money as well.
That is all part of the first form of respect we learn.
In my opinion that is not a long lasting form of respect.
